We had 'Balla' as guide and driver, a very experienced person, which all other guides and staff of the respective stops respected. He could tell very passionately (not too long either, just the necessary to let us enjoy the scenery and the stops afterwards). Definitely recommended to see some of this region.

Our tourguide Venoth was amazing! He knows so much about the area, the trees and the plants, it’s really interesting to listen to him. He’s very positive, has a good sense of humor and he is very hospitable. We really recommend you to take the tour with him as we really enjoyed the tour and laughed a lot! Thank you Venoth and we wish you all the best 😇

The experience was exactly as described, our driver and guide Tamil was so lovely, he involved us in the route planning, taking into consideration the weather and making us decide when to have lunch. In the mossy forest he explained a lot of interesting facts about the area, plants and animals and responded to all of our questions knowledgeably. I was also lucky with a lovely group of people so really loved the experience, would definitely recommend it especially if you don’t have a long time in Cameron Highlands to see all the highlights in one day.

A day's tour is definitely the best option! Then you can experience everything at your leisure. We had a very nice good English speaking guide “Ben” as a guide.

Up on a 2,000 m altitude place of interest is quite an experience. The thick green vegetation/forest coupled with captivating views and cold air makes Mossy Forest a trip worthwhile, indeed. Quite a fair bit of climbing is required on the board walk, both ways, going up upon entry and coming down to exit.

Overpriced experience considering the offer. The guide didn't explain anything but just took us to the various stops.

Fantastic tour. Our guide, Venoth was absolutely brilliant - so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour was really good value for money for a full day however we felt that the O&R gardens and butterfly farm were not worth a visit. We thought that doing the mossy forest & tea plantation as part of a guided tour rather than just getting a taxi straight to these places was worth it because you get way more out of it and our guide stopped along the way so we could walk around, see the views from higher up and take lots of photos. Would definitely recommend :)

I really liked the Mossy Forest Tour. Our guide Tamil created a great atmosphere in the group with his friendly and relaxed manner and knew a lot, which he explained understandably. However, the other attractions such as the Butterfly Park and Orchid Garden were quite touristy. Overall a nice tour if you want to explore the Cameron Highlands. Afterwards, you had seen all the major tourist attractions.

Sometimes you book on tours and end up with a LOT of folks. This is a small group experience - there were only 5 of us in the LandRover. Picked up at my apartment block when I was expecting to walk to a main rendez-vous point as I have done on previous trips. Because the other people were couples I got to sit up front with our amazing guide Venoth. We chatted most of the way about our lives so that was an added extra ;). Really appreciate getting to know you, Venoth! At the various stops, he clearly explained about the lay of the land, what to look out for and gave us insights from someone who lives in the community he guides around. Our timings were clearly outlined and despite the traffic challenges we were pretty much on time. If you are like me and interested in the local flora this is a definite must-do tour. I have lost track of the number of photos I took. I thoroughly recommend this tour and if you get the chance to time it... avoid weekends when this area becomes the getaway location for the cities and the traffic gets to be as heavy as in those cities! LOL!
