This experience was fine. It hits up two stops that I’d recommend to folks visiting Melbourne— Moonlit Sanctuary where you can pet and feed wallabys and koalas, and the penguin march. In between you’re crammed into a bus with two guides who are very affable and well-meaning, but aren’t particularly intellectually curious about the sites and don’t do much more than point out what there is to see. I’d have preferred some biological and geological knowledge, which I ultimately looked up myself. There are also some stops that aren’t well-detailed in advance and felt more like time killers in between the two other stops. That said, the tour was safe, checked some boxes, and the sites were worth seeing.

It’s a long day but worth it. Driver was friendly and very helpful. Great to see all the animals in one go and have a quick tour round Phillip island

This was a great trip except it was difficult to see the penguins. We had a great tour director (Craig).

You won't be allowed to take pictures of the parade as government banned pictures so you will be harassed by staff at the site even if you put your foot on the spot they don't like. I personally prefer that they close the site to the public if they're so protective and rude to tourists who traveled for days spending thousands of dollars to visit Australia. Travelers BE AWARE!!! This company has nothing to do with it though. Luke was fun, kept us engaged, and we all loved him. He was empathetic with how we were treated at that center and the sanctuary was decent. The company should provide at least a bottle of water as others do. So make sure you bring your drinks and food, 12 hours is a long trip.
