You are NOT supposed to take pictures or videos of the penguins at all once the sun sets as it disorients them from their homes. If people keep disobeying the rules then this beautiful experience will be taken away from all visitors to protect the penguins! So people need to stop being selfish and enjoy the experience WITHOUT their phone or camera! There are plenty of photos and videos on the website to share with family and friends and to remember your experience.

Our pick up was 45 mins late. We really enjoyed the animal sanctuary but it was far too short, we only had an hour. We had less than an hour in Cowes so no time to eat and finished with an hour and a half at the beach for the penguin parade that just didn’t happen. We saw a handful from a distance. It was a very long day and all too rushed. It would have been much better to have a half day trip just to the animal sanctuary. I realise the penguins cannot be guaranteed but the whole day had no detailed itinerary, started late and was just too rushed.

This was a fun and interesting tour. I saw things I cannot see in the US. This is up close with the animals in most cases. Our driver Steve was excellent and entertaining.
