On our first day in Taipei, I thought a simple city tour would be relaxing. I was wrong. This tour was busy, thorough, and fast paced! We were fine with the pace, but we were go-go-go and got to see quite a lot! Nicholas was our guide, and a great guy! Made sure we got our money worth, that's for sure! Allowed us time to take photos, stroll on our own, and was conscious of the heat, and found time to get us in some air conditioned areas throughout the day! I would have left 5 stars if not for one reason. There was a point we were taken to a tea ceremony. The lady was very sweet, and I'm glad I got to see the ceremony, however, there was a tad bit of an expectation to buy. I did buy, and I love buying souvenirs, but anytime a tour builds in an "expectation to buy" without my knowing, I can't rate 5 stars.

I had a good time and my tour guide was very accommodating but remember some things on the tour might be closed for one reason or another. In my case the Imperial Palace Museum was closed because it was a Monday.

On my way to Taipei, I decided to book a city tour—and I had no idea I had booked such an unforgettable experience! From the moment I was picked up at my hotel in a luxurious black Mercedes, I knew this would be something special. The tour took me to Taipei’s most iconic sites, including Bao’an Temple (a UNESCO Heritage site), Confucius Temple, the Grand Hotel, National Revolutionary Martyrs’ Shrine, National Palace Museum, Zhishan Garden, Taipei 101, and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Every stop was accompanied by rich history, cultural insights, and fascinating lessons on local traditions from my guide, Jack. A highlight was lunch at Din Tai Fung Dumplings Restaurant, where I enjoyed some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had. My guide was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and made the entire experience seamless and unforgettable. Given that I was traveling solo, he even made sure to serve as my personal photographer to ensure my memories were captured. If you're visiting Taipei and want an immersive, stress-free, and VIP tour experience, I highly recommend this company! An absolutely amazing day from start to finish.

Visited the Presidential Office Building, Chiang Kai Shek Memorial and changing of the guard, National Martyr Memorial, and the Grand Hotel. Vincent Lee was eager to teach us about the complicated history of Taiwan. The photos he took were amazing and the lunch of beef noodle soup and Mango shaved ice were unforgettable. Would highly recommend this tour and these local treats.
