The most prominent historical landmark in Taiwan, the CKS Memorial Hall was erected in honor and memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, the former President of the Republic of China, and was opened in 1980 as part of a national park and gathering area. A huge complex includes the Liberty Square, National Theatre and the Memorial Hall where you can see the show of guard exchange.

The driver was punctual and the vehicle was clean, spacious and air conditioned. The driver took us to a restaurant in the Taipea Tower. We invited him to eat lunch with us. He ordered many local dishes that were very good, but the bill was very expensive. We paid for his lunch.

Our tour guide, Paul, picked us up on-time from our hotel. He was knowledgeable and friendly and escorted us around Taipei like a pro. He knew where to park, get reservations and tickets, and expertly guided us to the highlights at all the locations we visited. We greatly enjoyed this tour and would reccomend.
