What To Expect
Petra
As you travel toward Petra, your driver will provide helpful information about the site and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, travelers explore Petra independently — entry tickets and local guides are not included. You will have enough time to walk through the Siq, admire the stunning rock formations, and reach the iconic Treasury. Travelers may also continue deeper into the site toward the Royal Tombs or the Monastery depending on their pace. Your driver will wait at the main parking area and remain reachable at all times by phone or WhatsApp. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the rich history of Petra, a city carved into the rose-red cliffs by the ancient Nabataeans over 2,000 years ago. Our expertly designed tour ensures you witness the most iconic landmarks, including the famous Al-Khazneh, also known as the Treasury, and the intricately carved tombs and temples that make Petra a marvel of ancient architecture.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
After visiting Petra, travelers who choose the Wadi Rum option will continue the journey toward the Wadi Rum Protected Area (approx. 2 hours). Wadi Rum is famous for its unique red and gold sandstone mountains and open desert landscapes. Travelers explore the area independently—admission tickets and Jeep tours are not included. Your driver can explain all available activities and assist with booking optional Jeep tours upon request.

5.00Mahmoud Awad was a superb driver and he made sure that we could have a late departure from Amman (so we could sleep in and rest a little) and we could also see all of Petra properly before reaching Wadi Rum by sunset. He was efficient and safe and fast and suggested good places for us to have coffee and food, besides which, he also organized a very well-priced tour guide to take us around Petra - we really appreciate how helpful he was!

5.00The trip includes driving for 13 hours. Petra and Wadi Rum entrances are additional fees not included in the price. The driver is very nice and helpful and known in the country, altough the price is considerable. Overall the experience was great and recommended

5.00We had the one day trip to Petra from Amman. Faisal, was an excellent driver, Took care of us at every step. He had bottled water and wi-fi in the car to make the journey pleasant. His English is excellent and we had some great conversations during the journey. We changed our plans part way through the day and he accommodated us joyfully. We stopped for lunch and he helped us select great choices to eat. In fact my daughter is still remembering the great Jordanian food. Visit Petra soon, few tourists so your time will be far better. Request Faisal when you make your reservation, and if you are lucky to get him, your journey will be great.
It's nice to have a Professional Driver to make the long trip to and from Petra!
