What To Expect
Vinicunca Mountain
In this beautiful program we will visit one of the new natural attractions of Cusco "The mountain of 7 colors". The tour starts early in the morning, we will pass by your hotel in Cusco between 04:00 and 04:30 am. To travel by car for approximately two hours to the south, until we reach the district of Cusipata - Paucarpata where we can have breakfast, then we will travel by car 1 hour more until we reach the checkpoint, starting point for our walk, said tour will last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, we will observe the typical flora and fauna of the Andes, among which the presence of Llamas and Alpacas stands out, upon reaching the viewpoint of Vinicunca or Montaña de Colores (5080 masl.) Our guide will give us an explanation about the orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain, we can also take advantage of the moment to take a photograph of the memory and admire the landscape, then we will return by the same path to the point where we started the walk, point of return.

5.00Nice experience. Very early in the morning the car pick me up from the hotel lobby. Around two hours driving to a good breakfast. After that one hour More to the beautifull land scape. Very good service, very nice trekking, very good food AND the pictures of landscapes are awesome. I will back AND contact you.

5.00Excellent service. I really enjoyed this experience. Everything was super well coordinated, from the moment I was picked up at the hotel. The food was delicious, and the guide was fantastic! The car was also comfortable. The rainbow mountain is simply wonderful and the views of the Andes and glaciers are the best I've ever had.I 100% recommend taking this tour; it's not always possible to visit landscapes at altitudes of over 5,000 meters! Tikas is a great agency and provides excellent service! They are very professional!
