Guides were very good. Drive went well. They follow your cruise ship. Just know you need to cancel any reservations before the 24 hour (or whatever) cancellation policy is in effect; which could be a problem if you are stuck on your ship.

This was a great way to see Pompeii and several towns on the coast. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

  • Van ride along the coast!

Expensive van ride. Tour guide was nice. Pompeii was incredible. Guide in Pompeii did an excellent job. Would be nice to be picked up at the hotel considering the van only holds eight.

It was unrealistic to visit all three locations in one cruise stop day. We enjoyed beautiful Positano so much but we had only 40 minutes. We had a longer time for Sorrento, where we found a place for lunch and wandered a bit afterwards. But it was nowhere near as lovely as Positano. Our group of four friends were very disappointed with the short time allowed for Pompeii. The recommendation is 3 hours and we had maybe 1-1/2 hours. Ale, our guide for the entire day was also our guide for Pompeii. I listened later to the free Rick Steves Pompeii audio tour for a more accurate and informative explanation of Pompeii. I think this tour would be great with only two locations, Positano and Pompeii. The drive is beautiful and we had a couple places to stop for photo ops on the Amafi coast.
