This all-day excursion takes you for a breathtaking drive along the Amalfi Coast to the picturesque hillside town of Positano (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own), then to serene Sorrento (where you'll have 1 hour free time to explore on your own), and before going back to Naples' port to the evocative ruins of Pompeii for a two-hour guided tour before returning to your ship.

What To Expect
Last stop: Pompeii. Pompeii is the most stunning archaeological site on the Italian Peninsula and one of the most visited. The ruins of Pompeii are an open air museum where visitors can go back in time and discover a city that had been buried in ashes until 1748. Visitors experience the city much as it existed more than 2000 years ago.
Second stop on the tour will be Sorrento (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own). Removed to the south of the upbeat urban tempos of Naples extends the Peninsula of Sorrento. This is a land where the scent of citrus fills the air and where grape vines follow the steep terrain to the edge of the sea. Breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri await you behind every bend in the road that leads you along this spectacular coast.

5.00This was a wonderful trip. Vincenzo was the absolute best. I appreciated that he cared enough about preserving the areas to ask parents to get their disrespectful kids under control. He did it in a calm, friendly way. I also appreciate that he didn't let pushy tourists cut in front of us as they kept trying. His stories were wonderful and we've been talking about how much we enjoyed him all week. I loved the roadside stop for pictures and fresh juice. Highly recommend the orange juice with lemon slush. If I ever make it there again I'll probably pick a tour that skips Positano. I wouldn't feel the need to experience that area again, but Sorrento was great for shopping and Pompeii was an incredible and unique experience.

5.00This tour was one of the highlights of my trip! I had some unexpected travel issues the morning of the tour and unfortunately wasn’t able to make it to the meeting point exactly on time. I was worried I would miss out completely, especially given the cost of the experience, but the team went above and beyond to help. They coordinated an alternative meeting point along the route so I could still join the tour, which I truly appreciated and am very grateful for. Our guide, Vincenzo, was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor that made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. Even though my day started off stressful, Vincenzo immediately put everyone at ease and helped turn the day around. The sites we visited were beautiful, historic, and incredibly interesting. The tour was well organized, engaging, and full of fascinating information that brought each location to life. Thanks to the excellent service and Vincenzo’s outstanding guidance, I ended up having an amazing experience. I would highly recommend both this tour and Vincenzo to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making what could have been a disappointing day into such a memorable one! Also shout out to the amazing driver the almafi coast is no joke to drive through.

5.00This tour was one of the best experiences of our trip! It was the perfect combination between beautiful and educational. The stops in Sorrento and Positano were jaw dropping and we had enough time for a great walk around and getting food and souvenirs. Pompeii was my favorite part. Vincenzo was our guide and he is so well informed!! I was able to ask him all my questions and I learned so much being there. His way of explaining things is hilarious as well, we laughed a lot on this tour. More than his talent as a guide, he was also very attentive. That morning we had experienced some unexpected issues traveling to the meeting point, but they contacted us and were able to work out an alternative spot so we could still experience the tour. This level of kindness and accommodation of guests was truly appreciated. We couldn’t be more grateful. He was very sweet to us and eased our stress from the morning. A genuinely kind person. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Naples!! Thank you Vincenzo!!

5.00Oh my. Where do I start. Paola and Pietro are absolutely the best! I found the company for our one day stop in Naples and Paola’s energy is what made this tour incredible. She’s SO knowledgeable, fun and sweet! We visited Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii all in 8 hours and Pietro was such an awesome driver! We felt safe, we saw amazing places and learned so much! On top of that we sang all the way back to our pickup spot! I have to say this was one of the best tours we have had and our family had an incredible time!

It was nice being in a smaller group. Van was air conditioned with charging ports. The drive to Positano was an experience, in a good way! We enjoyed Chiro’s facts and stories along the drive. Same for Sorrento! The meeting points were convenient. The Pompeii tour was something my husband and I will remember forever! Incredible! Highly recommend this if you’re only in the Naples area for a day and want to see a lot!

5.00This was a great tour. We were in port for one day on a cruise and this tour packed a lot into one day which is what we needed. There were only about 15 people on the tour which was nice. The views are beautiful and you get time to explore at several stops. At Pompei, our guide walked us through the ruins and provided explanations of several of the areas. This was a great tour and I highly recommend it.
