This all-day excursion takes you for a breathtaking drive along the Amalfi Coast to the picturesque hillside town of Positano (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own), then to serene Sorrento (where you'll have 1 hour free time to explore on your own), and before going back to Naples' port to the evocative ruins of Pompeii for a two-hour guided tour before returning to your ship.

What To Expect

First stop on this trip will be Positano (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own). Positano, the most picturesque town of the Amalfi Coast resembles a waterfall cascading down to the sea. Visitors descend narrow pathways, perusing artisan workshops offering ceramics, fabled lemon products, and the distinct local style of dress.
Sorrento Coast
Second stop on the tour will be Sorrento (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own). Removed to the south of the upbeat urban tempos of Naples extends the Peninsula of Sorrento. This is a land where the scent of citrus fills the air and where grape vines follow the steep terrain to the edge of the sea. Breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri await you behind every bend in the road that leads you along this spectacular coast.

4.00It was a very nice tour, but felt rushed to visit all that’s included in the tour. We spent a sowmwhsr docent time in Positano; then we went to Sorrento just to rush into a restaurant to have lunch and did not see Sorento at all since we were given 45 minutes. Then we went to Pompeii which was nice but wish we could’ve seen more areas.

5.00Our family had a wonderful time on this tour. The sites were amazing and beautiful. The tour was well organized. Vincenzo, the guide, was excellent. It was obvious that he had a passion for the area and loved what he was doing. He was clear in his explanations and added humor appropriately. He was engaging with the group and even had a custom playlist for the bus ride. We would highly recommend this tour to friends.

5.00We had a fantastic day with Vincenzo touring Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii! It was a great excursion for the time we had on our cruise port day in Naples. I only wish I had many more days to spend on the Amalfi coast! Vincenzo made it easy to find him outside the cruise terminal and he was a personable, friendly, informative and fun guide for the day. One tip though - if you have ever experienced motion sickness, take some Bonine before heading out. Our driver was GREAT but the winding mountain roads are hard to handle. Excellent tour overall!

5.00The trip was amazing you get to see all of the coast and beautiful places along the way. Who cares about Naples proper when you can go to Sorrento and Positano. The Tour Guide was so patient with us when we couldn't locate the pick up point. Highly Recommend for all ages
