Explore the countryside surrounding Kampot and Kep on a guided tour 7-8 hours.

-Next, visit Phnom Chhngok, a wonderful cave temple with 203 steps to its entrance. Inside the cave's main chamber stands a remarkable 7th-century (Funan-era) brick temple, dedicated to Shiva.
Visit Brateak Krola Lake, an artificial lake constructed in the time of the Khmer Rouge.
Enjoy a guided tour of a pepper plantation. Enjoy some tastings of the pepper produced onsite as you learn about the production process.
Finally with test seafood or lunch at crab market and swim or relax on the beach before heading back to Kampot.

What To Expect
Salt Fields
Spent 15 minutes for driving to here.Salt is another of Kampot’s important products. Ocean water is pumped into the pans from canals, then allowed to evaporate, leaving a thick layer of salt coating the ground. Workers rake the salt carefully into piles, collecting and moving it to storage.
Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple
30 minutes to here. Admire the wonderful views from the Phnom Chhngok cave temple

5.00If you have little time and want to visit the surroundings of kampot and kep these tours is perfect. It starts at 11am and ends around 6.30pm, after dark. Quiet and super helpful tuk tuk driver

5.00It was a fantastic and fun day touring around of the surrounds of Kampot and Kep. Our guide Tha was friendly, enthusiastic and very informative, giving us lots of local insight along the way. My highlights were the market tour with Tha, the pepper farm tour and the sunset at the beach in Kep. I highly recommend this tour, if you only have time to do one tour in Kampot/Kep, do not miss this one!
