Salt Fields
Spent 15 minutes for driving to here.Salt is another of Kampot’s important products. Ocean water is pumped into the pans from canals, then allowed to evaporate, leaving a thick layer of salt coating the ground. Workers rake the salt carefully into piles, collecting and moving it to storage.
Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple
30 minutes to here. Admire the wonderful views from the Phnom Chhngok cave temple

The guide was a nice and funny local guy, who showed us everything, what was expected. One thing we agreed (additionally), he didn”t delivered. But overally the trip was as described, and very interesting, especially the Cave and La Plantation.

The route with Phalla has been as described in the ad. Phalla speaks very good English and her explanations of everything we have been seeing have been very complete. It has always given us the opportunity to ask questions or curiosities about the country, its culture and the places we visit. We would definitely repeat the tour!

An exciting day. The interest of visiting the plantation. Very interesting with French guides. I understood almost everything about pepper. The upstairs bar is beautiful, chocolate ice cream is a treat ..... the salt marsh stop also very interesting, not to mention the restaurant, green pepper crab: a real treat😋😋. And the guide was very nice

I had a great experience on this tour around Kampot and Kep. Even though it wasn’t salt season, we still visited the salt fields, which were really interesting to see and learn about. Then we went to a beautiful pepper plantation where I got to learn about the famous Kampot pepper — super informative and scenic! One of the highlights was visiting a cave (I don’t remember the exact name, but it was a fun little adventure!). We ended the day at the crab market in Kep, where the guide recommended a fantastic local restaurant with fresh seafood. Everything was very well organized — I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel in Kampot, which made the day super easy and stress-free. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to explore the area in a relaxed but meaningful way!

I had a great time on this tour with Vandy, who was super knowledgeable, considerate and kind! I was able to see a lot of different sights in Kampot and Kep in a short amount of time! If you are in Kampot and want to learn more about Kampot’s history, see some hidden gems or just want to talk to someone interesting, I highly recommend booking a tour with Vandy!

Had a great day visiting the pepper fields, cave, and Kep market. Vandy was a brilliant tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and kind (he even got us coconuts to drink from on our tuktuk journey). I’d recommend booking this tour, you get to see lots of Kampot!
