Departing from two pick-up sites in Seoul, 14 hours of exploring the 2 most beautiful places in Korea lies ahead! Travel to Mt. Seorak, Nami Island, and possibly a Rail Bike ride(optional) with your local tour guide.
Mt. Seorak, also known as Seoraksan, was designated a Natural Monument preservation area. In December 1973, it became a national park, and in August 1982, it was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Unique rock formations and waterfalls create breathtaking views throughout Seorak.
Between Mt. Seorak and Nami Island, you can also enjoy a Rail Bike ride if you want to take in the scenery more up close.
Lastly, Nami Island is famous for its romantic atmosphere, where the drama "Winter Sonata" was filmed. Enjoy walking paths lined with metasequoia, ginkgo, and cherry trees, as well as art installations at every corner.

The Cable car at Mt. Seorak may not be operated depending on the weather conditions.
Arrival time is subject to weather and traffic conditions.
During the Fall Foliage Season(Oct 20-Nov 4), we will visit "Jujeongol Valley(Osaek)" for hiking, not the Cable Car course.
Meet up location: Please select your option between Hongik Univ. Station Exit 8 or Myeongdong Station Exit 4
The type of vehicle can be changed depending on the number of participants.
The itinerary of this tour excludes the transportation time between destinations.
Arrival time to every destination is subject to weather and traffic conditions.
Please discuss the size & number of your luggage in advance, if you are going to bring yours.

What To Expect
Seoraksan National Park
We will visit Seoraksan National Park and Shinheungsa Temple inside of Seoraksan National Park. You can hike or get on the cable car. (Cable Car Fee not included) During Fall Foliage Season, we will visit "Jujeongol Valley" for hiking, not "Cable Car course".
Gapyeong-gun
Railway Bridge that crosses the Bukhan River. This is a round-trip course that starts from Gapyeong Station, stops at Gyeonggang Station, and returns to Gapyeong Station.

Tour has potential but depends on the guide

3.00Combination of activities was very good. Perhaps with a better tour guide you can enjoy this tour more. Our guide was Jun, who did nothing more than drive us to the destinations: no information about what we were seeing, the significance of the places, or Korea in general, etc. The tour includes 6.5 hours of driving, during all of which the guests had to self entertain as the guide didn’t say anything. Instead, the guide was watching YouTube with his headphone in. We started to become car sick from the frequent jerks of the car from when he would look up from his phone and notice he wasn’t properly in his lane. This didn’t feel safe. The guide also left us extremely confused at many points because he didn’t properly communicate what each activity had to offer or the proper amount of time we had to spend at each. For instance, he never told us that at the top of the mountain we could continue to hike up to a viewpoint, and that a bit further there was a second smaller temple. Before getting to Nami Island, the guide brought us to a restaurant that didn’t cater to vegetarian guests, and didn’t tell us that we had the option to skip that restaurant and go straight to Nami Island and eat there and have more for activities. As a result of this, we felt our time was cut short on Nami Island and we didn’t get to properly enjoy it.

5.00We had Patrick as a guide, who was really great! I recommend this tour if like me you travel solo, you don’t have a car and you have a limited time in Korea. Personally it allowed me to see 3 different spots during the day, which I would not have been able to do without this tour. Thank you very much Patrick, you were great!
