During a day trip to the northeast coast of Taipei, you will have an unforgettable travel experience! A professional tour guide and a driver will take you to visit popular check-in spots.

Shifen is a town rich in culture and history which provide a nice glimpse at Taiwan's beautiful natural scenery. You can create a Chinese Lantern (天燈) with a wish written on it to release into the sky. Besides, taste Jiufen history and culture, eat local food when you stroll in the old cobblestone street.

Also, visit the natural classroom Yehliu Geopark, which shows bizarre terrain formed by thousands of years of geological movement that force the mountain jutting out of the ocean.

Please note that if the Shifen Waterfall suspension bridge is undergoing annual maintenance, an alternative route will be taken, which may require additional walking.

The Full-Day Tour in Shifen, Jiufen & Yehliu was day well spend. So amazing parts of the Taipei region. Our tour guide Kelly was absolute superstar and made the trip fun learning experience. As vegan travelers we thought it would be difficult to get food but Kelly took good care of us and always pointed out the vegan options and when not sure went to ask the vendor for us.

Places to visited in the itinerary are good. Disappointed with the one hour timing for Shifen's lantern and waterfalls. For no matter what we cannot both have lantern and waterfall in just one hour as they are in different path. One way take 15mins walk, 15mins lantern, 15mins go back to center meeting point. That we missed to see one important place. Jufen ia nice so crowded but we managed to make it in time. The geopark is another 1hr and 20mins time and need to rush again ro go back. But overall it was still satifying to see placea in short time.

It was a great day out. Our tour guide, Maggie, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and gave interest in each attendee of her tour. I liked how she provided great detail in personalising everyone's experience. Enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend.

We only had two full days in Taipei, one of which we decided to carry this tour out, and what a great choice we made. Lendl was a great tour guide who took us to the villages, geological site and waterfall areas, giving us ample time to enjoy the scenary/culture, etc. Considering how short our stay was in Taiwan, it gave us a great opportunity to explore Northern Taiwan in one day. Great tour overall and would personally recommend it.
