Prison Island - Changuu Private Island
prison island (changuu island) is where the giant tortoises are found relaxing on the beach shrubs, Prison Island Zanzibar: The Aldabra Giant Tortoise sanctuary is a major tourist lure and the oldest tortoise is 200 years old. The turtles are not indigenous and are magisterial creatures, weighing in at an average of 200 kg some are as old as over 100 years. You will enjoy a nature trail, then will do a stone town tour where you can see the historical sites, slave markets, daily markets, narrow streets, and later shopping.

5.00Nakupenda is a sight to see!! A strip of sand in a crystal clear sea. Perfect hike with Bekka, made our tour really perfect. We had lunch with some fresh fish and some really good fruit. Super recommended tour!! Thank you so much Bekka x availability and your company.

5.00We did the combi Prison Island and Nakupenda Sandbank. The tour was well organised with an on time departure. The schedule was adapted upon request in line with the rain that day. The guide spoke English well (and French as well). Food on the sandbank was freshly made and amazing. We also scheduled the taxi to the airport , again well on time and safe journey. Can really recommend.

We felt safe and well taken care of at all times. Beka is not only an outstanding driver but also a wonderful person who enthusiastically shares his homeland and culture. The car was always impeccably clean, and his driving style was simply wonderful – pleasant and safe. During our excursion to the Spice Farm, Stone Town, and Prisoners Island, he ensured that we felt completely comfortable. His knowledge of the places and the history of Zanzibar turned the excursions into unforgettable experiences. The second trip to Mnemba was equally perfectly organized. The boat trip with the captain and a snorkeling guide was a highlight. Even for snorkeling beginners like us, it was an unforgettable experience thanks to the supportive guidance. 5.00During our stay in zanzibar we used Sweet apple tours for our airport transfers and excursions. Abubaker was amazing. He was very professional and always on time. Communication was great and we never had to haggle with him as he always gave us they cheapest price first time. We were travelling with a child so full day activities were a little tough but Abukar made sure that our activities schedule was tailored to us and made plenty of stops for us along the way for food and refreshments. I couldnt recommend Sweet apple tours enough.
