4.00Varanasi is a beautiful city, especially the ghats on the Ganges. The tour took us through all the famous temples and Himanshu our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. Our driver Alok was also very accommodating, having gone out of his way to find a cash point when the first few weeks went to didn’t work. I would give them both 5 stars. The only criticism I have got is that the tour doesn’t start at 6am as advertised on Tripadvisor/expedia during winter. Instead we were picked up from the hotel at 8:30am and ended up being rushed through Sarnath and not being able to see a few of the places I wanted to see there. This was so that we could get back to the ghat in time for the aarti ceremony. I would still recommend this tour to anyone but keep in mind that you may feel slightly rushed if you’re visiting during winter.

5.00I had a wonderful experience with this Viator tour. Originally scheduled for 6 a.m., the team was extremely kind and accommodating in shifting the start time to 8 a.m. due to heavy fog, which I really appreciated. The walking tour was thoughtfully done, and the boat ride was absolutely beautiful and added so much to the experience. The evening aarti was truly special and very well organized. Our guide, Himanshu, was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful—he shared a lot of interesting information and made the tour even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

5.00Interesting tour. Himanshu is an experienced guide and explains their culture, values and different religions well and patiently. Describes in detail the history of the city taking you to the old part as well. I don’t speak English but he was able to explain everything by speaking slowly and using Google translator. I recommend the tour with Himanshu to everyone.

5.00Varanasi the word spells positive vibes. Yes that’s what I felt. Excellent arrangement by UP Govt and the tour company. Ghats were clean as I had imagined from social media but more can be done with the help of local bodies and local people. Good boat ride specially sun rise The tour guide Mr Himanshu was helpful and cooperative. Would recommend him for any of your future tips. He has that thing in him and always eager to show around.
