What To Expect
We will enter the Osaka Castle Museum and learn about the history of Osaka and the castle itself. The castle was completed in 1597, but was destroyed many times. It was finally rebuilt by the Japanese government in 1995. The castle is a little different than when it was originally built.
Shitennoji
After spending some time in and around the castle, we will head to Shitennoji Temple. It is the first Japanese Buddhist temple in Japan. Here you can see how Buddhism travelled from India to China and eventually landed in Japan thousands of years ago. We will learn some very interesting stories here.

5.00Justin and co gave a very interesting, informative and unforgettable experience exploring, roaming and discovering Osaka and its history. Justin and his team gave us a very interesting-depth history lesson on Osaka castle, Shitennoji temple, and the surrounding areas, we stopped at Kuromon market for lunch, it was delightful. We also made art Ukiyoe style. Justin’s Charming and funny personality made this experience so much more worth while, thank you.

5.00Wingki was my tour guide and she was knowledgeable, accommodating, (I was lost and late to the meeting place), friendly, and enthusiastic. My prior day's bus tour with 20+ people, was a starkly different experience. On this one-on-one walking tour with Wingki, I was able to learn the history and importance of the attractions as we we were there; no hurrying and missing reading informational signs because of too many people or having to rush and get back to the bus on time. Wingki is not only knowledgeable, but her enthusiasm is contagious. Loved that! This walking tour, we rode the train and subway to the different neighborhoods. I prefer the walking and easy mobility. Also, I feel like this tour was thoughtful, especially with learning and making Ukiyoe. Memorable and fun! She even helped me source some specific souvenirs my niece wanted and walked me to the store on Dotombori. Annnnddd she sent a lovely follow up email after our time together. (Who does that anymore?) Thank you for the exceptional tour, Wingki and Snow Monkey!

5.00We had a bit of a rocky start, but that was totally on us. My friends and I originally signed up for this tour because our first choice was fully booked that day. However, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! Our lovely guide, Wingi, was absolutely fantastic - super knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. She shared tons of fascinating information about the castle and temples we visited, which really enhanced our experience. Despite the hustle and bustle of Osaka, we had an awesome time. Plus, we got some killer food recommendations while exploring the fish market. And let me tell you, the ukiyoe experience was unlike anything we've ever done before! Even though this tour doesn't have a ton of reviews, we would definitely recommend it. Wingi's guidance was top-notch, and we're already looking forward to booking another tour with her next time we're in town!

5.00My guide, Winki, is truly the best. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and friendly, she is also very accommodating throughout the entire tour. Since it was my first time coming to Japan, I had a lot of questions......and Winki answered them all. She was also kind enough to help to solve my non-tour-related problem with my hotel. The Castle, the temple, ukiyoooe , everything was fun! I was also able to see many sides of Osaka that were completely different from my image of Japan. I learned a lot about Japan and Osaka. Winki, thank you so much!!!! Awesome!!!!You are the key to making this tour great.
