I had a wonderful time! José is an excellent host, personable, talkative, accommodating, and caring about each person's needs. His expertise as a historian and educator were evident. The sites we got to see were great!

Dr. Jose Morales, is a superb tour guide and was very knowledgeable of the area and Puerto Rican history. He tied where we were along the tour route and the history over 6 centuries of human activities from indigenous (Taino) to Spanish and inclusion of African slavery to US hegemony in this hemisphere. He kept the interest on each walkabouts select areas from San Juan to west coast to the light house and bioluminescent bay. The day ended with pleasant exhaustion, mind full and much exercise.

We had such a wonderful day doing the West Coast tour! We were so happy to see so much of the island, and a lot of places tourists hardly ever see. This was a long day, but moves at a nice pace so it is not too overwhelming. There is plenty of time between stops to cool off and have snacks in the car. Jose was so wonderfully accommodating to whatever our group wanted to do and took us to some really amazing sights! We learned so much about the island and its history, it kept us engaged all day. The highlight was the cool fruit smoothie in the evening from a fresh fruit stand!

I somehow ended up being the only person on the tour since it was on a Monday. At first I thought it might be awkward since I'm not a chatty person but Dr. Jose Morales made me feel very comfortable during the whole trip. He's very knowledgeable and humble. We talked like friends just casually hanging out while he introduced me to Puerto Rico. He showed me the beautiful beaches and stops along the way, and the last stop was a boat ride at night to see La Parguera bioluminescent bay. The best part of the trip was a stop at la frutera for smoothies made from fresh fruits grown locally in the same area, a perfect afternoon treat from Dr. Morales. So I highly recommend you book this tour with him. He will tailor the trip to what you enjoy and make sure you want to come back to Puerto Rico.

Suggestive trip to the West coast of the island. We visited breathtaking viewpoints, swam in crystal clear beaches, and climbed up to the lighthouse. Josè, a Puerto Rican doc, is passionate about history; he can talk about the island nonstop all day long and answer every curiosity! Highly recommended if you are looking to avoid crowded touristic spots and wish to get to know the island more thoroughly.

We had an amazing day with Dr. Morales and our new friends exploring the the beautiful west coast of PR. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all kinds of questions and chat about different cultural subjects. Although we had some bad weather, Dr. Morales was able to rearrange the schedule so we could get the most out of the day. The lighthouse and cliffs of Cabo Rojo were a standout, but the most amazing part was visiting La Parguera's bio bay. Tickets are not included but we were able to book a swimming tour for the same evening and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I'll never forget the evening we had there.

One of the best days of Puerto Rico, you learn a lot about the island with incredible views, you also learn a lot of history of Puerto Rico. The guide is very very friendly, funny and patient. It has several stops where many people do not know about and that should be known. Excellent service with snacks, water and soft drinks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
