What To Expect
Generally the most beautiful countryside trails for hiking in Yangshuo are known by farmers only and in the case of this trail only a handful of farmers who really need to be there to harvest their lands will know about this incredibly beautiful hiking trail that connects the farmers village of Yangshuo Yulong river and Xingping Li River, the 800 year old Yulong bridge, also known as Dragon Bridge. This amazing trail will take you through old farm villages built in mudbrick and Qing Dynasty Fire Bricks, incredible lush green mountain scenery, a large reservoir where the villagers fish and keep their water buffaloes, fruit orchards, scenic viewpoints aside a cliff overlooking the Yulong river valley, and Xingping most beautiful natural areas in the Li river.

5.00Andy was a fantastic tour guide from beginning to end. Very well experienced and shared a lot of information about the land, villages and points of interest. Even as soon as I booked, he sent me a welcome message to say hello and confirm other small details which was helpful. He was also a great hiking partner, as some of the trails we visited were tough, especially the one which overlooks all of Yangshuo, but it was nice to accomplish it together. He has a lot of passion of what he does, so if looking to not only hike in a beautiful area, but learn a lot about Chinese culture and have a local experience, this is the best one around. Thanks Andy!
