What To Expect
Molino de Viento
We will make a photo stop at the “Molino de Viento”. It is a windmill, located a few kilometers from Mogan. Oral tradition has it that it was a shepherd from La Aldea who set it on fire in retaliation against the municipal power. From then on it was known as Moulin Brûlé. It was restored in 1998. Its 7 meter tower makes it the largest windmill in Gran Canaria.
Los Azulejos de Veneguera
We will stop to admire the “Azulejos de Veneguera”, a natural monument formed by a complex process of solidification of the fluids expelled by the Tejeda volcano and which the erosion of thousands of years has left exposed. A mountain as if we colored it with brushstrokes. Erosion revealed a series of geological layers, minerals tinted with reddish, ocher, green and blue tones. Locals gave the name “Los Azulejos de Veneguera” because of their resemblance to the brightly colored tiled walls of San Nicolas de Tolentino.

His pedagogy taught us a lot and none of our questions went unanswered. Beyond the playful aspect, we had an unforgettable time as Fabien is an endearing and sincere person. 5.00We had the opportunity to take a trip to the mountains of Gran Canaria in December 2023 with this company and we were completely satisfied. So this year, for our return to the island we booked the full tour of the island and obviously again with Fabien. It was like meeting a long-time friend. You could see he was really happy to see us again. We toured the island as indicated on the program and even with a few little “Plus”, because Fabien knows how to adapt according to his clients and does not count his time. We enjoyed visiting the beach area of “La Aldea” Fabien showed us sites that we could not have discovered alone. The fish meal in Agaete facing the port was very good and typical. The West Coast is wild and beautiful. Fabien has many different excursions and as we return every year, we have already planned a completely different excursion. Fabien, thank you for your kindness, and your sense of humor that made our day even more unforgettable. Thanks also for all the photos taken during this day.

5.00Having just completed my second tour with Fabien (my first was two years ago), I can confidently say that it is one of Gran Canaria's best guidebooks. This "Jane McDonald Tour" was absolutely fantastic and took us to some of the island's most beautiful hidden treasures. Fabien’s profound knowledge and passion for Gran Canaria are evident at every stop. From the crystal clear waters of Tufia with its charming white-blue houses and cave dwellings to the impressive neo-Gothic San Juan Bautista church in Arucas - every stop was a highlight. The historic centre of Arucas with its 17th-century architecture was particularly fascinating. ==References== A special highlight was the visit to Firgas, also known as the "balcony of the Atlantic". The Paseo de Gran Canaria with its waterfall road and the Paseo de Canarias, which shows the landscapes of all the Canary Islands, offer breathtaking photographic motifs. Lunch here was a unique experience with local watercress dishes - a truly authentic taste of Canarian cuisine! The last stop at Puerto de las Nieves in Agaete was overwhelming, with its natural pools and iconic Dedo de Dios rock formation. The blue and white houses along the pebble beach perfectly embody the charm of this fishing village. What distinguishes Fabien is his charming personality, his many years of experience and his ability to convey not only the tourist places but the authentic soul of Gran Canaria. His personable nature and professional approach make the 8-hour tour seem like an excursion with a well-informed friend. I have now done two different tours with Fabien and would book again at any time. If you want to experience the real Gran Canaria with an excellent guide, Fabien is the place to be. His tours are worth every euro! Tip for travellers: Think of comfortable shoes, sun protection and bathing gear if you want to swim in the natural pools!

5.00We have been to Gran Canaria several times. Still, Fabien managed to show us some amazing places we had never seen before. Not only did we learn fun facts about Gran Canaria, but he also took us to interesting places with a few stops along the way to take pictures of the beautiful landscape of the island (one of the great things about private tours is that you can literally stop for anything). His good humour, humour and passion for Gran Canaria made this day absolutely unforgettable!

5.00A fantastic day to discover incredible places you don’t suspect when you’re on holiday in Playa Del Ingles. Fabien picked us up directly from our Inn. The contact was immediately warm. He knows how to put us at ease and throughout the day he talks to us about the specifics of the island, its history and many other things. We discovered breathtaking landscapes. A real "plus" for the beach of "La Aldea", wild and out of the tourist hordes. The West Coast is beautiful and we were happy not to drive because the road is really full of turns and you need to know. The fish meal offered (but not imposed) by Fabien was delicious. Freshly caught fish. Swimming in the natural pools is a real pleasure and Fabien allowed us time to swim without rushing. We finish the Tour with the beautiful Cathedral of Arucas. What we really liked was the Impression of spending a day with a friend who never talked about “timing”. Everything was fluid, stress-free. A big thank you. We will not fail to contact you (and recommend you) during a future stay.
