Galle Dutch Fort
Galle fort which is situated in the bay of Galle on the southwest cost of Sri Lanka, was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese , then extensively fortified by the Dutch in 1668 and finally 1796 British expanded this fort. Galle fort become UNESCO world heritage site in 1988. In here there are 52 hectares, 272 families living and living monument fort in Sri Lanka. 14 bastions, National museum, light house, Dutch hospital, marine museum, clock tower and church showing ancient time city as a living monument.
In early time called as Buona Vista , It has the one of the best coastal view ,It has a panoramic view of bay of Gall and surroundings , This place has many relationship with legends.Jungle beach is one of the best attractive place located in Rumassala.

5.00We went on a day trip with Prasad and he made it a memorable one for us! He took us to Galle Fort, a Turtle Rehabilitation Centre and a Tea plantation factory. He had good knowledge of all places and provided a lot of interesting facts about other things and places along the way as well. He was a very professional guide and knew what he was talking about. The icing on the cake is he even takes great photos (insta-worthy!) too. 😊 If you're visiting Sri Lanka, go ahead and book Prasad's service without a second thought.

5.00This was such a great tour! I was able to see and learn so much about Galle. Going to Jungle Beach was also fun and a hidden gem. Seeing the stilt fishermen and touching turtles was a joy. Seranath was a great tour guide. He was friendly, informative and fun to be around. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Lucky me … booking this on a whim the day before. Prasad was early to pick me up. Very professional. No gimmicks - he only wants the best for his guests. Prasad has a great love and passion for his country, this is clear in his humble and genuine interactions. He’s very knowledgeable and no question was left unanswered. Tea plantation, beautiful scenery, king coconuts … I got to hold a baby turtle….and much more. I would 100% recommend him.

5.00We had a great day with Prasad! A relaxed & informative tour that covered a variety of different sites in the Galle region. We explored Galle Fort, tasted various teas (& cake!) at the Handunugoda Tea Estate, took in the stunning view at Rumassala, saw Sea Turtles up close and Stilt Fishermen. Prasad has an excellent knowledge of Sri Lanka’s flora, fauna & local culture, which he happily imparts throughout the tour - we learnt a lot! I highly recommend Prasad as a guide for a fun, relaxed and happy day.
