Comprising three waterfront gardens - Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central - Gardens by the Bay will be a showcase of horticulture and garden artistry that will bring the world of plants to Singapore and present Singapore to the World.
Flower Dome
Step into the Flower Dome and you'll be standing in awe of nature. Spectacular and innovative in design, it is one of the icons of Bay South Garden. The Flower Dome replicates the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean regions like South Africa, California and parts of Spain and Italy. Home to a collection of plants from deserts all over the world, it showcases the adaptations of plants to arid environments. Stop and smell the flowers in the colourful changing displays of the Flower Field, which reflects different seasons, festivals and themes

Stunning show. A must see but organise taxis in advance

4.00Stunning light and sound show. Well worth a visit. Let down only by poor taxi situation at the end of the evening. We were left as lone female travellers with no one around waiting for taxes. Taxes came and went. Chose who to pick up based on their destination and willingness to pay extortionate rates.

5.00We spent a full afternoon and evening here. The weather was really hot, but we were in the enclosed domes often enough to cool off. Really recommend it!

5.00Traveled to Singapore for a 3 night stay before embarking on a 9 night cruise. After we arrived we had a phone call telling us that the cruise had been cancelled. We had two days in Singapore before flying back to UK. We had previously booked this trip online and now it was all that was left apart from general sightseeing. The next morning we got a call from the tour operator saying that out of 10 originally booked 8 had cancelled to he was cancelling the trip. He heard the disappointment in my voice and I told him what had happened. He said that he was sorry and so that we would not be totally disappointed he would pick us up at 16:30 from our hotel in his car himself. True to his word he arrived at the hotel and took us to the gardens, gave us our tickets and showed us where to go. He picked us up at 20:15 and took us to the boat ride and waited for us for the 45 minute journey and then returned us to the hotel at about 21:30. He was friendly and helpful and put himself out to give us something to enjoy from our trip. I would give him a 10 out of 5 if I could because it is very rare that you get treated like this. He made the 50 hour round trip worthwhile
