When one tour was cancelled, the company invited us to switch to a different tour. They sent us the outline and description for the new tour and we agreed to switch. The new tour was NOTHING like the description they sent and we felt like it was a bait and switch situation. We sent a note outlining why we didn't like the tour we were switched to (didn't match the description we were sent) and were told someone from their management team would contact us. 5 days later ~ we have not heard from them.

This was the best choice I could have made to get a good idea of the Gas Lamp Quarter. Our guide, Magda, was awesome. She was very personable and knowledgeable of the area. The tour included some unusual places to eat and drink. The tour length is just about the right amount. I was so happy that I chose this tour. I wanted to see the area at night, but did not want to go solo. We had a small group that interacted very well. It was such a fun tour!

Tour was cancelled at last minute due to not enough people. We had 3 in our group alone. Not enough time to schedule something else. :(

The tour was pretty boring. The lady guide had only been doing tours for two years and just didn't have good communication skills, an in-depth knowledge of the gas lamp quarter and was not enthusiastic and energetic. My wife and I have been on over 10 of these types of tours and this one was the worst.

Lots and lots of great info. Excellent food. Would have never tried a pork belly taco. The shepherds pie was to die for. Had my very first mule and loved it. The fusion Greek/mexican gyro/quesadilla was the bomb. Could have eaten two. All in all we enjoyed trying new places and enjoying being out of our comfort zone. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

Great little food tour! You learn about the history of the Gaslamp area while trying great food. My tour was with Magda and we had Greek gyros with a cocktail, pork belly tacos with light lager beer, Shepherds Pie with an Irish mule, and homemade ice cream. The food and drinks were delicious and it was neat to learn the history of the area while doing a lot of walking. The food portions are small so I ended up going back to the restaurant that had the Shepherds Pie for a full size portion after the tour. Highly recommend!

This is a must-do for anyone interested in local history, or architecture, or food and drink. I highly recommend our guide, Ben. He was knowledgeable, keep us at a totally doable pace, and we had time to enjoy the food and drinks. We had a great time!

We did this tour on our 2nd night. So glad we did. Learned lots of fun facts, saw cool places, met fun new friends and enjoyed 3 bites with drinks plus dessert. Loved the places picked - Meze Greek fusion (delicious brandy sangria & quesadilla with gyro meat) Smokin Js BBQ (yummy pork belly taco with their hot sauce & lager. Also bought a tasty IPA Phantom Bride) & The Field (yummy shepherds pie & drink that I can’t remember name of but it was good) We also bought Irish coffees, best we’ve ever had. Ended at Calis for icecream (lavender was our choice & it was good) & bought delicious gingerbread man and sugar cookie. Would definitely do this tour again. Only wish is for bigger food servings to go with all the drinks!

Had a class time on the tour. The host was super knowledgeable, told us all about beers bites and brothels and created a good atmosphere for the group so we all got on really well and went for a drink after. Food choices were decent and bar IQ was spot on from the host. Big up Shelly's birthday 21.11.25 x
