Rachel was our guide, she was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the city history. It wasn’t too much to be a history lesson, we were there to eat after all, but tied nicely to how diverse the city culture is in Vancouver and why we were tasting at those locations. Would definitely recommend, but come hungry and plan to go light on dinner later!

We thought this was a great tour--something to do before going on our cruise ship the next day. Our tour guide, Chirag, was fantastic. Very personable, friendly, funny and a great communicator. You can tell he loves what he does! The stops were: Steamworks (our favorite), Guu, Petrichor Social, MeeT, Six Acres, Brioche, Soft Peaks, and Waffleland Cafe. We indulged in a variety of unique foods from entrees to desserts. And were also pleased with the variety of alcoholic drinks (if you chose to partake). We have made it a habit to participate in a food tour with every city we visit and this Gastown Historic Walking Tour did not disappoint.

This tour was a great mix of locations and experiences in Vancouver. It was also an excellent mixture of information and movement. Jordan was a superb storyteller!

Chirag was an excellent tour guide. Friendly and energetic. It was apparent he loves the city. Depending on what your morning is like, you may be hungry after this tour. My one suggestion is to give better directions to the meeting/starting spot. Water Station seemed to be the entrance to the subway but the building is named something else and even the Lyft/Uber driver had difficulty finding the drop off point.

A casual stroll through Gas Town sampling great food at places you might not notice and learning Vancouver lore so informative and so much fun due to our amazing guide Rachel. So fortunate to share this place with her.
