A missed experience, would not recommend the tour operator Mortour.

1.00Booked this tour after having used Viator previously. Guide did not show, tour operator Mortour unable to be contacted by phone or online. Contacted Viator who were very helpful trying to help us. Unable to contact Morton’s as well, Viator organised refund.

5.00Fernando did an excellent job with the history of Gastown. He was full of knowledge. Gastown has quite a history related to this area but of Vancouver. Fernando was patient and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this tour as the history is incredible!

1.00Tour guide did not show up and did not respond to any messages. It's been a day later and still haven't been able to get ahold of the tour guide to get a refund.

5.00Great way to learn about the history of Gastown. Although it is a new area (<200 years old), there are some good stories and sites to see.
Very poor tour with little to recommend it.

1.00Our guide was forced to read from notes and did not know very much about Gastown apart from her notes. She started the tour at the old Gassy Jack sight and gave us a very opinionated view of why his statue was torn down and her opinion of it and the first nation peoples. We very nearly walked away at this stage but decided to see how things would go...big mistake, it did not improve. A very poor tour that provided very little due to the guide. Very dissapointed. Would not recommend this tour or this guide.
