Mine for gems and fossils along covered outdoor or indoor rushing water flumes. Keep what you find. Explore the property and visit the goats at the goat barn. Visit the aviary to see peacocks, pheasants and more. Explore NC’s largest crystal and fossil store.

5.00Excellent experience- highly recommend particularly for kiddos like my grandson who are rock hounds. Knowledgeable and friendly staff answered all the questions from our little guy and made suggestions helpful during our visit. The relaxed atmosphere added to the great experience. The animal walk through was fun; the goats had so much personality! Would visit again when in the area

4.00Mining was fun and 5 year old loved discovering each rock. Process is easy and the unveiling is fascinating and interesting look at colors, shades, and patterns. He and his Pappy are cleaning them all off this morning and renewing the discovery process. Goats and other animals were less of the attraction, but there is variety and love the picnic tables for easy and comfortable gathering.

5.00Gem mining was so much fun. Several gemstones found.. gift shop has many beautiful pieces to choose from. Enjoyed the goats. Good place for one person or your whole family to enjoy the day. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Give it a try. You will be glad you did.

5.00We went as a family to celebrate my daughter’s 6th birthday and she had an amazing time! Heather was so helpful answering my questions in advance to make sure she had a nice experience; she had everything already set up for us when we arrived. The girls got tons of gems, many of a substantial size. it was well worth the cost.

5.00My experience at the Elijah gem mine was the best. Especially my experience dealing with Reece. He even sang Happy Birthday 🎁 to me because it was birthday. Kayne was hilarious and Joe was very helpful and knowledgeable about the gems. But my fav was Reece❤️

5.00Reese was so helpful with our 1st time experience. Highly recommend if in Hendersonville. He also suggested a great winery, lunch place and Falks to visit that were all nearby and made our day trip memorable. Feeding the goats was so fun. Definitely worth a trip back !!!

5.00stopped here passing through town to have a little fun sifting for cool rocks. the staff is wonderful and spent time going through my haul with me and identifying my treasures :) cool gift shop and the peacock was a great bonus !
