This indulgent tour takes you on a 2-hour journey through the heart of Ghent, where history, storytelling, and chocolate come together. As you stroll through the city, you’ll pamper your taste buds, boost your endorphins, and enjoy a guilt-free blend of culture and delicious chocolate tastings. Your Ghent Chocolate Tour begins at the Jacob Van Artevelde statue on the Vrijdagmarkt, where your guide warmly welcomes you and sets the scene. From there, you’ll explore the historic city centre, with stops at Korenlei, Graslei, the three medieval towers, and the famous Graffiti Street. Along the way, you’ll discover fascinating stories, such as the tale of two Greek brothers whose passion for this aphrodisiac led one of them to worldwide fame. During the tour, you’ll make 5 carefully selected stops, each offering a different chocolate speciality. No two tastings are the same. As an extra treat, you’ll also enjoy exclusive discounts at selected partners.

Turn up hungry! You will get lots of chocolate (all delicious). Sophie is informative, funny and very kind. She was happy to answer all of our very random questions. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

Super nice guide who could tell nice stories about the city. We had a private tour because there were no other bookings. Tasted delicious chocolate (products) but actually it is too much chocolate for 1 afternoon. All in all highly recommended!

So much fun and we are not beer drinkers. Tiago was fantastic. Great walking tour even in the rain. He explained different chocolate symbols on windows so we knew who won awards when we wanted to purchase chocolate. We each got a bag of chocolate to taste with the beer, then French fries and different mayo tastes, and finally four different beers to samples. A very enjoyable tour and definitely recommend it.

We were a small group of two families. Our guide was very nice and competent. She responded very well to us and brought us the history of Ghent in an interesting way. Chocolates and chocolate were full and the quality was excellent. Also not so crowded places in Ghent were shown to us A really great experience. Tour and guide are highly recommended

We had the best time with our tour guide Sophie! The meeting point was very clear and we found her right away. We very much enjoyed the walking tour sprinkled with interesting facts about Ghent as well as the history of Belgium. It was very informative and she went out of her way to answer all our questions. And of course the chocolate was delicious! For me personally, it was a little too much. At each stop, there were about three pieces of chocolates so in all about 10 chocolates plus a chocolate waffle and a large hot chocolate. Everything was so amazing but I think providing a to go box would have made the experience a lot more enjoyable. When in Belgium you must try the amazing chocolate and trying it with a guide to explain each unique piece and the history behind each store made it so much better!! I would recommend it.
