Join us for this pilgrimage, a scenic and meaningful ride from Bellagio to the legendary Madonna del Ghisallo Cycling Chapel and Ghisallo Cycling Museum, the spiritual heart of Italian cycling. Our guided tour takes you along a route of winding switchbacks that reveal new views of Lake Como at every turn. The ascent from Bellagio is the official climb of the Giro di Lombardia, a route steeped in cycling history and tradition. Since 1919, this climb has tested champions and inspired countless riders -- a true pilgrimage for anyone passionate about cycling. At the summit, we visit the Madonna del Ghisallo Sanctuary, dedicated to the patron saint of cyclists, and the Cycling Museum, where you'll discover memorabilia, stories, and artifacts that celebrate over a century of Italian cycling culture.

5.00Awesome bike tour. The views were spectacular, quality e-bikes and a fabulous guide. Carlo was informative and very passionate about this beautiful region. We would recommend Bike It tours if you want to see the other side of Bellagio. A very happy customer.

5.00We wanted to explore some less touristy parts of Lake Como but knew we would need help navigating the terrain. BikeIt Bellagio is co-owned by an expat from the USA, so we knew we could communicate with the staff. We were very happy with the check-in and fitting process, and the bikes were in great shape. Gabriela was an excellent guide, and there were just enough stops along the way for checking our cycling progress and showing us the sights. The small towns were adorable, and the views… You can see for yourself from the photos! There is a small family trattoria next door where we had an excellent pasta lunch after working up quite an appetite. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for some exercise during your Lake Como trip!

5.00Honestly one of the highlights of our trip! Great experience, exercise and fun. We are not regular cyclists but are relatively fit- the pedal assist was a savior for me in those hills. Views and sights were amazing. Great guides.
Lake Como E-bike tour

5.00The ride was beautiful along the shores of Lake Como. Had some steep sections. My wife and I don’t ride, Alex and her team were very helpful . The views from where we stopped and ate lunch were some of the best we saw of Como and the food was good. We are both in our mid 50’s and made the 30 kilometer ride with no problems.

5.00We absolutely loved our group ride. Our guides Gabrielle and Alex were really great at keeping us all on track, safe and well informed on the region. Our stop at the cycling chapel and museum was really cool - seeing all the bikes and jerseys of famous riders really made you realise what a special place it is. The pace was relaxed and allowed for good chats between all the group over the course of the ride. The E bikes definitely helped on that front 😀 The ride was finished off with a really nice and chilled lunch and more opportunity to chat with everyone (and for Gabrielle & us to compare pics of our cats - far out cousins at least!) It was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Bellagio and we would have no hesitation in recommending 🚴🏻♀️ Ride on!

5.00My 21 YO daughter and I did the Group Bike Tour: Onno & Ghisallino (E-bikes and Road bikes) in July 23 and loved it. Both of us rarely ride and probably hadn't ridden a bike for the last year or more. Even though the 3 other people on the tour were clearly engaged in the sport we were made to feel quite welcome and did not feel out of place - Helps when the E-assistance on the bikes we had meant we had no problem keeping up. Great mix of exercise (as little or as much as you want depending on the level of assistance you have selected at the time), fresh air, fantastic scenery, and good company. Gabriel, our guide, was excellent including making the Bike museum visit at the top of the hill absolutely riveting, even for those such as us with little prior interest in cycling.

Highlight of our Lake Como Adventure

5.00This was the highlight of our Lake Como stay. Our guide was Gabriele and he was the most kind and patient host. We were part of a group of 6 people (a family of 4 + the 2 of us, a couple) and he made sure that all of us were comfortable on our e-bikes before the ride and all throughout. This was our first time using e-bikes and I was a little nervous to try them out, but wow they were awesome. Easy to figure out and really nice to have a break going uphill when you want/need it. The views were stunning - Bellagio is beautiful by the lakeside but you really get to take it all in when you’re on top of those hills. Gabriele made sure to stop at several spots for photos and even showed us a few off the beaten path areas of interest. We ended the ride with a a delicious lunch (bread, cold cuts, cheese, jam, wine) at a nearby restaurant overlooking the lake. And the best part was getting to know Gabriele and hear about his life (#ironmaiden). We also has the best family as part of our group which really made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful day!
