With the travel time of 1 and half hours we’ll reach Birethanti from Pokhara following Modi Khola passing numerous local villages, green hills and locals throughout the journey. Through the charming village of Hile, you will reach Tikhedhunga from where your trails start to steeply ascend through a staircase made of stone. At the end of the trail, we’ll reach our first destination of Gorepani poon hill trekking, from where you can witness a magnificent view of Hiunchuli and Mount Annapurna south.
Ghorepani
With the rising sun hitting the face of the mountains, we’ll have our breakfast enjoying the view. After the breakfast leaving the Ulleri behind we start our second day journey towards Ghorepani. On our 4-5 hours journey we crossed several beautiful places such as, Banthanti place famous for Rhododendron and oak woodlands, Nanggethanti following the Bhrurngdi khola. We’ll spend most of the day trailing through the jungle. Mostly in the spring season you will witness blooming Rhododendron and a large number of wild birds and animals. With this hike we’ll reach Ghorepani, which offers a magnificent view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
Right after waking early in the morning, we rush towards the viewpoint known as Poon hill to witness one of the best sunrises your eyes can see. The magnificent panorama view is when you realize Nepal is actually beautiful. Poon hill is the greatest point along this journey which a photographer doesn’t want to leave. Witness the Himalayas, including the Annapurna, Bahari Shikhar, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagir, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks. With a heavy heart and a beautiful portrayal of the Himalayas we’ll return to the lodge in Ghorepani where breakfast will be waiting for your arrival. With the delicious breakfast we started our journey towards the descend to Tadapani. In about average it will be a long day of walking around 7-8 hours including the climb of the Poonhill but since we’ll be descending it will be much easier than it sounds also with the scenery along the way the day will quickly pass by, and we’ll reach Tadapani making our final destination for the day.
Pokhara
It’s amazing how the days go by so quickly. It's the 4th day, the last day in the hills, the day which ends in the heart of Nepal Pokhara but wait we still have a full day to enjoy. After our last breakfast on the hill, we started our downhill journey towards Ghandruk. We’ll descend through Rhododendron and Oak woodland; we'll get the chance to witness wildflowers making it another memorable thing about this journey. Enjoying the journey, you will not realize that you’ll have reached Ghandruk, a village filled with local people, beautiful houses and smelling the same fresh air that you’ve smelled in the Ghorepani. Ghandruk is one the most popular destinations even among Nepali tourists as it provides a beautiful scenery of Annapurna South,Annapurna III, Machhapurchare, Gangapurna and Hiuchuli. The village provides a distinctive architectural design, esmerizing this view, you’ll leave the walking trail and get in vehicle for 3 hours journey towards Pokhara
Ghorepani Poonhill trekking also known as Annapurna balcony trekking, it is one of the most demanded and popular trekking trails in Annapurna region.

Had an awesome experience trekking to Ghorepani and Poonhill. Special thanks to my excellent guide Raman who was a super knowledgable source about many treks in Nepal and Tibet. He also helped me keep the morale. The monsoon brought lots of rain and cloudy skies. One tip for future travelers: Don't underestimate this trek. Especially the 5th and last day down from Ghandruk to the end point is pretty exhausting. I also booked another short trek with Adventure Board - ocerall super reliable service! Would use it again.

I joined the trek to Poon Hill alone for three days and four days. My guide Raman was very supportive throughout, taking the time to plan the journey according to my level as a beginner. It's been a tough road, but I've been able to walk through it without any trouble. Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to see the mountains beautifully, but it was a very good memory.

I took the adventure bound Gorepani-Poon Hill trek on my first Himalaya trek. Although I was inexperienced in climbing and initially worried about my physical strength, my guide Santos was able to adjust to my pace and cheerfully proceed with my daily itinerary without difficulty. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy the trek with peace of mind until the end. It's not an easy road for beginners, but the Himalayan mountains always pop up along the way, and the view from Poon Hill that I barely managed to reach is the southern Annapurna peaks and Daulagiri shining in the morning sun, the sea of clouds below, and the Himalayan peaks in the distance. It was overwhelming beauty, like all the fatigue I had felt before. Fortunately, the weather was nice and I enjoyed the best panorama. The walk is a fun route from start to finish, with various settlements scattered along the way and the mountain scenery changing depending on the altitude difference. ※If you are a beginner, it is recommended to work out before joining.

I asked a hotel person to book a trekking tour for four days and three nights. They arranged everything including transportation, accommodation and meals. Our guide Niraj spoke English and I didn't speak much English, but I really enjoyed talking to him on the way.

It was a beautiful experience. The sunrise in Poon Hill was amazing, the view is magnificent and impressive, it has been one of the most beautiful moments I have experienced. The walk is challenging but possible for anyone, just be patient. Santosh was an amazing guide, he became a friend, thank you so much for your help.

It was a very good trek to see the amazing scenery, Mr. Raj, the wonderful guide and the reliable porter. The trekking road of Annapurna at this time of year was filled with beautiful marigold flowers and beautiful mountains such as Annapurna, Daudagiri and Machapichare. The hotel in Kathmandu also has a Japanese female staff who can discuss your trip with you with peace of mind. I want to go back and see it again.

Raman was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. He carried lots of fruit up the 'small hill' for us which was delicious, and played cards with us too - Resham!

Some of the best views I will ever see! Our guide Raman was great, getting involved with games in the evening and showing us the details and history of the mountains, allowing us to go at our chosen pace. 10/10

We did the Ghorepani-Poonhill circuit with Raman and had the time of our lives. The scenery was incredible: going between waterfalls, forests, hills and mountains sprinkled with villages and animals. And the sunrise from Poon Hill was other-worldly. Raman was a knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humour and knew some brilliant card games! We will remember this trip for the rest of our lives and hope to come back to Nepal to hike with Raman again in the future.

Excellent trip, would 100% recommend! Despite booking 36 hours before on arrival in Kathmandu everything was seamless. Our guide Raman was lovely and waited on us hand and foot, could not have asked for anything more! He gave accurate descriptions and timings of the trek and was encouraging throughout. The accommodation, food and views were beyond my expectations. Will definitely be booking through them again.
