Overall found the experience to be really underwhelming and quite pointless. The conductor worked really hard but we could barely see out of the windows of the bus and felt we didn’t learn much. At one point we thought something exciting would happen as we got off the bus but we just went to the shambles then went back to the bus. Would only recommend to people with small children.

It is a bit of fun, we adults and teenager son enjoyed it, 10 yr old daughter got a little scared at times but overall found it very good. Bob the bus driver and John the conductor were very funny and knowledgeable.

Very good, from start to finish Frank tge conductor was brilliant. Corny jokes, scary moments, smoke and special effects. Stories about ghosts and local history with a difference. The bus was brilliant well done the Driver.

I went with my family and was not disappointed at all. Our host was Phil and he was absolutely fantastic, comedic timing was excellent and really set the tone and made the entire experience thoroughly enjoyable in every aspect. For the price you pay, it’s worth absolutely every penny and I would 100% recommend + even go again in the future, thanks so much!!

I booked this trip as a birthday present for my son and it was one of the best things that I could have done. The excitement when we saw the bus arrive didn't stop until we got off the bus. As soon as we arrived Frank was a great mix of spooky, sarcasm and deadpan greeting us onto the bus and he had us in stitches, even creeping behind us and whispering in my boyfriends ear. Telling us fascinating facts about haunted York with wit and humour and keeping everyone on their toes. The tales were brilliant and I've never heard any of them before, and it was great to get out of the city centre and see other haunted locations and spooky sites including Dick Turpin's grave. Bob the driver kept us going and enjoyed telling us the odd joke or two as well. I definitely recommend this tour to everyone and can assure you that you will enjoy it too 🖤

The whole experience was amateur and non infornative. The talking guy was dressed like a grungy student and kept slipping into his York accent while TRYING to sound Romanian. 20 mins of tour we were off the bus while this guys attempted humour by picking on a few of the group. We worked out the trip was raking him and his masked driver over 1000 pounds!!!! Keep your 20 pounds and go for a nice meal. I couldnt wait for it to end. Like watching Canon and Ball right at the end of their careers. Scary? The price was the only scare when you realise what you got on departing the bus. Would have learnt more about ghosts in York by asking locals in a pub The 7 pints of vodka which the driver drank before the journey? Hahahahaha. Hilarious

Super fun and informative (for gruesome tales...) way to see the city and jump out of your skin along the way! Great fun and highly recommended!! My teenage and adult daughters laughed and screamed in equal measure!!
