I strongly recommend some form of York tour, and York is perfect for a ghost tour. For this particular tour, it was not clear where to meet. My tickets did not say, and I got some conflicting information online. The meeting location is the RD bus stop at the train station, the bus will just pull up. Currently, there is a lot of construction at the York train station so it’s quite chaotic there. Frankly, a little bit of signage at the bus stop would have been helpful. The double decker bus was decorated in a haunted mystic (with a few minor special effects) which was fun. I do recommend that they try to dim the lights on the bus a bit more. It was difficult to see outside in some areas…with York being quite dark. That said, we had a great time, and Phil did a great job narrating. You do get out at one point which was a good stop.

Me as my boyfriend have been three years in a row and it never gets boring or seems the same. We have had a different person every year and each time it is educational, spooky and funny. Recommend this to anyone

A great, atmospheric tour with the knowledgable and unhinged John Doe conductor and driver Bob.

I didn't find it hugely informative but man, was the fella a funny guy. What a great fun experience. I'd looked at the area online so knew a fair bit, so that's on me. However as an experience highly recommend it.

As four friends visiting York for the first time, we thought this would be a fun way to learn a bit more about ghostly York. It was funny and informative with Edgar and Bob guiding us through the dark and scary streets.

I didn't want to jump out of a moving bus, so it must have been alright. Brilliant tour of the darker side of York, because it's at night. 10/10, would highly recommend because we love Bob. The other guy was quite funny too.
