3.00This was certainly fun but not a tour if you want to learn more about York … it was rainy and winter so you really couldn’t see out of the windows at what was being talked about and the “stories” about Margaret on the bus just didn’t work .. not sure I’d do this again.

5.00I really enjoyed the Ghost Bus Tour of York. The host, acting as the bus conductor, absolutely made the experience — entertaining, engaging, and with just the right amount of interaction with the guests without it ever feeling forced. The stories were fun, atmospheric, and a great way to see the city from a different perspective. I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting York and looking for something a bit different.

3.00I expected the tour to be stories of the paranormal etc but most of it was done as a joke. I couldn't tell if the places and events were real or not. We got off the bus at one point, this was dangerous as we had to follow the guide over a busy road at night. There was no attempt at safety to ensure everyone was back on the bus. Not in the least scarey, too much emphasis on jokes.

1.00Without a doubt, this was one of the worst ghost tours I’ve ever been on. Even if it had been free, I would have left disappointed. Visibility was terrible — the windows were completely fogged up due to the weather and condensation, so you couldn’t see anything outside. The entire experience felt incredibly amateurish, like a couple of mates who bought a bus, skim-read a hop-on hop-off tour script about York, and tried (and failed) to make it sound funny. It lacked atmosphere, professionalism, and any real sense of storytelling. Save your money — we genuinely wish we’d chosen a walking tour instead.

5.00We both thought it was fantastic and well worth the money. Tour guide (Frank Stein) was so funny and informative. He made the experience enjoyable and the time flew by. The bus is very atmospheric and we would recommend the whole experience to anyone.

2.00I expected this to be very spooky and believable. Unfortunately it was neither , the bus looks great from the outside. However I wish we had just stayed outside and taken pictures. Not funny , not entertaining and cold !
