  This tour is exactly what I expected. I wanted something light hearted and different as a way to explore York in a different way. The tour is informative with dry and sarcastic humour, which is exactly as it's advertised to be. If you want a serious tour then this isn't the one for you. You stop off and get off and walk up the Shambles to learn about the history. My tour guide Frank and driver Bob were amazing.

  The. Conducted was brikant and tried very hard to get the participants pm board but some of the storyline like Margaret possessing someone were a bit cheesy

  Advertised as a theatre experience with actors. No just a bloke called Phil who thought he was funny but wasn't . Humour was awful, he needs to learn to read the room as no one laughed. Bob the driver went round a roundabout 3 times, not funny in fact for 1 passenger it was nauseous. Told to get off bus as it had broken down, no it was to do the only good bit of the journey which was to walk to The Golden Fleece & be told a ghost story. Back on the bus & Phil saying im so frightened ive pooped myself oh there it is going down my leg & ive flicked it out the door...there it goes.we didn't pay £20 each for childish humour. Flickering of lights & funeral music, they could of made it so much better. Any amateur dramatic society would do so much better. Such a disappointment. Have read other reviews which seem better with a host called Frank but...when you book you have no idea who you will get.

  Phil and Bob made this a trip to not forget. Gave a factual account of hauntings around York (didn't quite believe during tour so googled after). Very nice mix of humour/fright/knowledge/seeing York. Very nice precursor to dinner (6pm tour).

  Booked this as a ghoulish Mother's Day gift as thought it would be something completely different, and it was 👍👻 The meeting point was nice and easy to find and the whole booking process was easy and straight forward. Phil & Bob were great,... Phil looked after all the passengers and was very entertaining, he was very animated and articulated throughout,... luckily he was on hand when I got possessed by Margaret 🤔👻🤣 Would definitely recommend The Ghost Bus Tour to anybody planning a visit to York,.. mmwwaahhhh ah ha ha 👻💀👻
