I booked this tour for my husband, my 9 year old son, and myself. The bus is decked out in goth decore. The tour guide is campy qnd committed to his role :) There is a staged break down of the bus but nothing to worry about. Some guests seemed really upset about it but it's meant to give us a chance to get into the shambles by foot. It's funny and goofy and just go with it.

This is a fun and entertaining way to see the sites of York while learning a little bit of its gruesome and spooky history. The bus was easy to find and on time. Our hosts were excellent and made the whole experience great for everyone

We had so much fun! Our bus operator and the tour guide were very entertaining. The stories they shared were chilling. The spooky ambiance of the bus was unmatched and it really set the tone for the rest of the trip. The experience was totally interactive. During the tour you leave your haunted carriage and get to see some of the sights up close. There are a few jump scares and a lot of laughs. We had so much fun, we are planning on checking out the one in Edinburgh as well. Thanks to Bob and John Doe for making our experience memorable.
