This experience was epic. Extremely entertaining, engaging & interactive. The timing of the aspects of the tour in relation to our driver 'Bob' was amazing. The Conductor was absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for a little slightly cheesy fun combined with excellent history weaves into this interactive performance this is the tour to be on! Excellent value admission fee The tour lasted the full hour. Our bus was full but the crowd size was enough to provide a good atmosphere without feeling crowded. Best for adults, cute date night idea, girls weekend away etc.

It was a great experience overall and our grandchildren 11 and 7yrs enjoyed it as well. It was just over an hour long which was just right. The guide was very informative and very funny at the same time. Really enjoyed the experience.

Get in the q early to get your choice of seat and sit together. Phil Graves was our spooky conductor… very funny. You get off mid tour and have a little ghost walk. Entertaining and worth the money.

Save your money and do a self guided tour. Or take a daytime bus tour as it was difficult to see anything at night. Sort out the PA system and ventilate/heat the bus to remove condensation.

This was our 2nd time on the Ghost Bus and although it’s the same route/same info it was a different experience and just as much fun as the 1st time! The Conductor (Frank Stein) and Driver (Bob) were hilarious and it was great entertainment with lots of interesting facts thrown in! I’d definitely recommend this to anyone for something to do in York.

We did this tour a few days ago, if you’re going when it’s cold - WRAP UP WARM (dry robe type additions). It was freezing and took a long time to warm up after. The staff were great and informative - can’t knock them. Now in fairness, I didn’t really read the breakdown of this before booking 🤣 , got side tracked by ghost tour and my partner was THRILLED it didn’t involve walking so we committed. It’s a comedy, theatrical experience. Which it does say online. It was a light way to spend and hour 15, the bus left promptly and got us round York with no issues. The tour host had lots of information to share, along with a few jokes and stories. This wasn’t really what I wanted from a tour, was looking for more factual based details but, first ghost tour and also my own fault for not reading the website fully because it does clearly say. Because of the time of year, it’s not easy to see all the markers pointed out on the bus which is a shame. I’d consider doing it again in the summer. As visitors to York, it was a fair way to spend just over an hour and I would suggest others try it but make sure you wear lots of layers if it’s winter and that you’ve read the website details so you know what to expect
