A great experience, a lovely old bus made to look Atmospheric, a bus driver ,Bob,with a skull mask on,and John who was excellent with his knowledge and his witty remarks and audience participation, we throughly enjoyed the Ghost bus tour and highly recommend. We could only get the late tour at 9pm and you might not see all the places pointed out as its dark.

Great fun, all the family (kids and adults), enjoyed every minute. Frank Stein as conductor and Bob the driver were very professional

This was a bit of fun for myself, husband and two teen daughters. Husband and I had done the one in Edinburgh but this wasn’t as good. The Edinburgh stories were better and the actor playing the conductor was more engaging. The bus looks great and the atmosphere is scary with dry ice and low lighting. The stories were not as scary though and the effects were better in Edinburgh. Not bad but could be improved with better delivery of the stories.

Not worth the time or the cost was so disappointing with this Was more of a comedy act and he asked for at least a £5 tip at the end of it

The tour was very entertaining. Not as good an Edinburgh’s version but still very good. I definitely try another Ghost bus tour in the future.

Ahhh this!!! We loved every bit of it. We loved every bit of it. Anyone visiting York for the first time should not miss this Ghost Bus Tour with Bob and John Doe (iykyk 😂). It was so much fun, as John and Bob make sure you get the best experience. Be prepared for amazing ghost stories in the most haunted city in the UK- beautiful York. Good memories! We’d recommend this to everyone ❤️

This was certainly fun but not a tour if you want to learn more about York … it was rainy and winter so you really couldn’t see out of the windows at what was being talked about and the “stories” about Margaret on the bus just didn’t work .. not sure I’d do this again.

I really enjoyed the Ghost Bus Tour of York. The host, acting as the bus conductor, absolutely made the experience — entertaining, engaging, and with just the right amount of interaction with the guests without it ever feeling forced. The stories were fun, atmospheric, and a great way to see the city from a different perspective. I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting York and looking for something a bit different.

I expected the tour to be stories of the paranormal etc but most of it was done as a joke. I couldn't tell if the places and events were real or not. We got off the bus at one point, this was dangerous as we had to follow the guide over a busy road at night. There was no attempt at safety to ensure everyone was back on the bus. Not in the least scarey, too much emphasis on jokes.
