Brave San Francisco’s dark and ghostly past on a real ghost hunt down historic alleys.

You’ll use modern ghost hunting gear, including your own EMF detector during the tour.

After meeting near the Transamerica Pyramid, your ghost hunter guide escorts you down haunted alleys, through mysterious neighborhoods, and around historic street corners. Stand atop old Gold Rush cemeteries, learn of paranormal activity following mysterious deaths, visit the site of infamous brothels, hear about Gold Rush–era hauntings, and how Chinatown’s gang wars changed the city.

But it's not “just a ghost tour” -- this tour includes tales of unexplained deaths, scandalous murders, the old red light district and more...

Recommended for ages 12+ due to mature themes, including serial killers, brothels, and true crime.

This tour can accommodate wheelchairs, but there will be two moderate hills -- please inquire if you have concerns.

The ghost tour was great and we enjoyed our host, Jamie. The problem is that Jamie took pics of everyone and sent us all an email with instructions for accessing the photos. Unfortunately, it’s been a week and he’s yet to upload the them. The email he sent indicates that they’ll be uploaded by 12pm the day following the tour and advises to download within 2 weeks before the photos are removed. I’ve emailed them twice now, as instructed in the email, but have received no response. Customer service is part of the experience— it’s just bad business to ignore your patrons.

Fun time. Mac was a great guide She was knowledgeable about all things haunted. We did get a hit on the emf meter however no conversations with the entity.

Jamie was awesome and knowledgeable, had a really greatest balance between what could be considered paranormal vs explainable. We had a really spooky occurrence that was not related to any of the stop points, and he let us honor that experience with time and intention to investigate. Honored the historical context.

This walking tour is a fun experience for all ages, especially for people interested in learning a little unknown history of San Francisco. Jaime was friendly and knowledgeable and told stories with just the right combination of enthusiasm and eeriness.

Aliya did a fantastic job bringing San Francisco’s history to life. As a local, I learned so many things I didn’t know and came away with a deeper appreciation and connection to the city’s past. Even if you don’t believe in the supernatural, the old San Francisco stories Aliya shared were truly chilling—and absolutely captivating. I’m not sharing any details here because I don’t want to spoil the experience for future tourgoers, but I highly recommend The Haunt Ghost Tour to anyone interested in discovering San Francisco in a fun, engaging, and memorable way.

Aaliyah thank you for being patience , we arrived very late,she is incredibly knowledgeable .The storytelling was captivating at times, we felt we were part of of the history.We visited spooky locations,She used some cool stuff to communicate with spirits .Thank you highly recommended

Our guide Aliya was wonderful. Ghost stories, SF history, photos, EMF meters, & chills. The amount of info was just right. The walk is easy but wear comfy shoes and bring a sweater - cool at nights!
