Megan was the perfect host, storyteller and guide for our ghost walk in Oxford. Megan had a fantastic ability to tell the ghost stories, sharing historical knowledge, engaging the group, and adding a unique, humourous, and personal approach. We recommend this tour.

We took the Footprints ghost tour on Halloween night and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide was a history major student who brought Oxford's spooky past to life by staying in character as someone who once lived in the city. Her storytelling approach made the tour feel incredibly immersive and engaging rather than just a recitation of facts. The combination of historical knowledge and theatrical presentation created the perfect atmosphere for a Halloween evening in Oxford. We were thoroughly entertained from start to finish and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oxford, especially if you're looking for a unique way to experience the city's rich history. A memorable experience we won't forget!

It was a strange tour, the accuracy of information was questionable to each location stop and it was assumed we knew the difference between each college. There was no room for questions and the stories were vague and a bit drab. We made the most of it but it didn't feel like we got any value for money.

I really enjoyed it! There was a lot of history mixed into the ghost stories and our tour guide, I think his name was Jasper, was very knkwladgable and was absolutely lovely.

I had expected great things but unfortunately our guide had very little interaction with the group. He walked to his spot, told his story, then moved on. No questions, no context for where we were or why the story mattered. sometimes he’d name drop colleges as if we knew that’s where we were or why it was important. Some stories didn’t relate to the location they were being told. Tour finished at almost the 1 hour mark - so shorter than expected. The costume was impressive but made questions impossible and you have to ask what a plague doctor get up has to do with ghosts

The Ghost tour was excellent and had a great amount of sinister and sordid details to accompany the ghost stories! It was quite fascinating. My tour guide was excellent. I think his name was Sebastian and he was fully dressed in a plague costume!

The reviews I had read for this tour sounded brilliant. The reality was a very dry delivery of facts around some of the colleges/ historic sites of Oxford. There was very little interaction between the guide and the group. He clearly knew his stuff but there was no excitement around the tour- he recited his piece, then we went to the next site. The costume was excellent but the reality of wearing a mask for the whole tour meant it was difficult to hear clearly. I wouldn’t book this again.

Unfortunately this was nothing like it was described on the booking site. It stated that it would be" A spooky adventure packed with the most chilling and torturous deaths seen anywhere in England. Complete with surprise appearances from a range of vengeful and disgruntled spirits Bring an open mind, courage and a spare pair of underwear! Our expertly trained actors will play out before you some of the most barbaric and brutal punishments ever exacted. This tour should not be taken by the faint-hearted as it includes the surprise appearance of multiple wild beasts! Side effects may include sleepless night, potential whiplash and euphoric exultation. Luckily this tour ends next to one of the most historic and famous pubs in Oxford" The guide didn't always wait for everyone to keep up, and when he spoke it was hard to hear him. He stopped in busy areas that were hard to hear and concentrate, one being in the middle of a wedding party. There were no surprises appearances from anyone, and it ended down a quiet side street 4 minutes early. I actually thought at one point we had joined the wrong tour. Not impressed very disappointed and would request a refund if I could. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Our tour guide was amazing (Think his name was Will)! So knowledgeable with great stories about the city of Oxford. Would highly recommend to those interested in a different type of city tour.

A great evening of gruesome entertainment, exploring the back streets of Oxford with a terrifying story teller (Will)....who turned out in the end to be a lovely guy and happy to offer some pub recommendations :)
