Dunluce Castle

Located on a basalt outcropping right on the north coast of Antrim. This Castle was once the seat of Clan MacDonnell and stood throughout the medieval era as a bastion against invaders from both land and sea. Built in the 13th Century this fortification has seen its way through Irish history ( with a bit of Viking, Christian and British history too!!) and it will see you too as you witness its rugged beauty against the backdrop of the Northern Atlantic Ocean where the Castle stands vigil. Filled with haunting stories of collapsing walls and howling ghosts! Most recently it made an appearance in the Game of Thrones Tv Series as the great Pyke, castle and seat of House Greyjoy Narnia too has its links to Dunluce as it provided inspiration to C.S.Lewis in his descriptions of Cair Paravel and has even been seen in a Jackie Chan movie called ‘The Medallion’ Dunluce might be the first stop of the day but it may well be the place you’ll never forget!

Giant's Causeway

Find the heart of Ireland’s Ancient mythological landscape at the other-worldly Giants Causeway. Some say that ‘Nature doesn’t work in straight lines’, those who do have never been to the Giants Causeway. An area of over 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, most of which are hexagonal in shape having up to 8 sides. Walk among the great pillars of what was once an epic bridge to Scotland & constructed by none other than Finn McCool! It is said that once this bridge stretched all the way over to Scotland being built by Finn when he felt like fighting with a particularly fierce Scottish giant! This magnificent landscape indeed looks like it by the hands of a giant but it is entirely naturally formed by the slow cooling of lava from an eruption millions of years ago. Recognized as one of the top 100 geological heritage sites worldwide, something that should not be missed by anyone.

We had an amazing time with Oli and Eli. Funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Really had a blast, the sights are out of this world and the Titanic museum not to be missed. A definite high of our trip here in Ireland!

Solid tour if you have a day to spare. Our guide Noel did a great job breaking up the drive with quick stops at various sightseeing locations. He brought up many interesting facts about the areas we visited. He kept us on schedule but at no time did we feel rushed. Eli did a great job driving the bus. Highly recommend this one! Thanks for a good time Noel

We made the excursion with the guide May, who animated all day. She brought us details and anecdotes at every step, and had the right amount of feedback: not too much, not too little! She gave us tips to enjoy in the middle at every bus stop, and a very understandable English! We had a great day!

It was a great expereince. Quiggs, our tourist guide, was knowledgable and articulate about the history and the stories of Ireland and the attaractions that we went to. We enjoyed the musics that he played and the flute he played live during ou ride. Dass the driver was great and skilled. We had a comfortable ride despite the rainny weather. When we were at the Giant Causway one of the paths was closed (part of the red path to be exact). We had to spend extra time to find the Causeway pillars. We cut very close to the time when our tour bus had to depart. The Causeway "facility" should have notified the tourist companies about it. I just hate to see other tourists missing their bus due to the same reason. The stopping at the Belfast city hall was very nice. The experiere was at the Titanic museum was really worth it despite it was pouring rain when we got there. There was stop that we could not see a thing due to the mist (we were supposed to some islands). But Quiggs (and Dass) made it a pleasant experience. Overall my husband and i enjoyed the trip very much. We would do it again in the future and hope for better weather. Thank you, Quiggs and Dass. From Canada

Tourguehrer Quiggs and bus driver Rujieev led a very good tour. Very informative and interesting, funny and entertaining, even with live music on the bus. The bus was comfortable and with usb for power and wifi. Super tour... anytime gladly again. Many love thanks for the unforgettable experience... as beautiful as you always imagined Northern Ireland. Definitely worth the money

My wife and I booked a tour to Titanic, the Causeway and the dark hedges. Our Tour guide Quiggs from Fin McCools Tours was very entertaining. Quiggs ensured everyone had fun and treated us like old friends personally taking the time to talk with each passenger on the tour bus. There was ample time given to all of us to explore each site as usually a group tour is pressed for time. I recommend this tour company and if you are fortunate enough to have Quiggs as your guide it will be a fun day for sure!

We had an amazing day with Delaney and Thomas from Finn McCools Tours! Both were friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the whole group entertained throughout the trip. Everything was well organized, from the timing to the stops and stories shared along the way. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ireland — it’s the perfect way to see the countryside and learn about Irish history in a fun way!
