This unique tour will bring you to the most famous scenic spots in the Netherlands, which are Giethoorn, Afsluitdijk and Zaanse Schans within one day.
In our journey, you would visit a dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoes factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, the longest dike of the world; In the afternoon, you would discover green 'Little Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn.
This tour offers free hotel pick-up service within Amsterdam; a luxury and comforable mini bus (Mecedes brand) with maximum 8 persons; and a free bottle of water (one bottle per traveler).
This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with a lot of beautiful photos. One remark: Making new friends on the road won't be a bad idea of your travel.

What To Expect
Zaanse Schans
You would expect to have following activities in our VIP tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a private dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a private wooden shoes factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.
Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm
This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.

5.00Erik our guide was amazing. Because he grew up in Holland, he was very knowledgeable about his country. He did everything to make our day fantastic. At the wooden shoe factory he got us front row seats (it was crowded) so we could see the demonstration. When we purchased items, he would take them back to the van so we didn’t have to carry them around. If you want to see the countryside this is the trip to take. The country was beautiful and it was nice to do a tour outside of Amsterdam. From old windmills, cheese, wooden shoes, dikes, and a boat trip through a quaint village: we did it all. Thank You for giving us a fantastic day.

5.00This is one of a kind experience with Reiner as our guide who is a walking talking encyclopaedia about Netherlands history. While the locations were picturesque, Reiner’s information about history of each of these places made it truly memorable experience.

5.00While we did this tour in the end of March, it was still pretty cold windy and not much in the way of flowers blooming. Our guide Leidse was amazing interactive and extremely knowledgeable. He made sure we saw everything and got the most out of the day. Pick up and drop off were flawless and on time.

5.00Our tour was wonderful. Leidse led us on today's excursion. He was warm, witty, and very knowledgeable. He was very accommodating. I enjoyed the small group experience. The day ended with the same enthusiasm as the beginning. Leidse also gave us some great restaurant recommendations before dropping us off at our hotel. If you're planning trip I hope you have Leidse as your tour guide.

5.00We’ve been to Amsterdam several times therefore this time we decided to explore outside Amsterdam. This day trip was very enjoyable and we had a great time. Our guide Reinier was very attentive, efficient, knowledgeable, communicative, helpful and lighthearted and very friendly to all of the passengers in the group. He talks to everyone, keeps communicating with each person and very energetic, makes this whole day trip an interesting and enjoyable experience. The itinerary is definitely worth doing. The pace isn’t rushing about but nicely paced out and we have plenty of time to relax and explore. We love Giethoorn and the restaurant “Grand Cafe Fanfare” recommended great tasty sandwiches by the guide, Reinier, the food is delicious and was able to cater to all gluten free bread for my husband which is great. Overall, this is definitely a great day trip for us and we’d definitely recommend it.
