Join our day trip to picturesque Giethoorn in true OUYI TRAVEL style. In a small group with a minimum 5 persons and no larger than 9 persons. With a comfortable Van and take you to one of Holland most breath-taking destinations.
Our friendly and professional guide and driver has over 20 years of experience and because we only cater to small groups, there will be plenty of flexibility and quality.
With a nice private small boat, we will be able to show you the most beautiful parts of Giethoorn and share interesting stories about it. With a small private boat, we will be able to have enough flexibility to explore much more HIDDEN PEACEFUL PARTS of Giethoorn village along the old canals. With a good experienced boat captain, our guide will be able to drive a small boat fluently and safely through those chaotic " boat traffic jam", then, he will be a bit faster than others and can explore more to see! After that, you will also have ENOUGH time to explore the village at your own leisure.

What To Expect
Giethoorn
Our guide will pick you up at the meeting point : Hotel Double Tree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station. Adress: Oosterdoksstraat 4, 1011DK. After that it takes about 1:30 hours to drive to be GIETHOORN VILLAGE, where we first arrange an 1-hour private small boat tour alone the old canals through the oldest and most attractive part of Giethoorn village BEFORE the BIG BUS GROUPS come. Then our guests can enjoy their free time to explore about the village by walking(1:30 hours). Optionally, if our guests want, our friendly and professional guide will walk with you to share the stories about Giethoorn village. At last around 16:30, we will bring back our guests safely with our comfortable Mercedes van to Amsterdam Central Station. Or optionally, we can also drop off our guests to the beach of Zandvoort Aan Zee to be the finish-point of the day trip. From there every 30 minutes you can so easily take train back to Amsterdam Central Station.

5.00Going to Geithoorn with a smaller group was well worth the cost. Our tour guide was fabulous - very friendly and informative. He made sure that we got there before the main influx of tourists - so there were very few boats on the canals. It was so peaceful. Our canal cruise was in a smaller boat so we were able to see the area where larger vessels couldn’t get to. We had plenty of time to wander around after the canal cruise and see all the beautiful houses. Going to the museum was also worthwhile and reinforced what our tour guide talked about. It was truly a lovely day.

5.00I loved this tour, our tour guide Aku was very attentive and also careful, because it is a small group, I brought older parents and daughters, very suitable. Aku does not urge, and will allow us to have time to slowly enjoy the scenery, also pay attention to the needs of the elderly. We had a very happy day, starting from Amsterdam, half an hour before we arrived at Oakland Village, very easy boat tour village, then have lunch, then have your own time to go, buy souvenirs, eat other snacks. Aku will remind us to go to the toilet, so that the elderly do not worry. The meal time is also very abundant, you can really sit down and drink a cup of tea to see the scenery.

5.00Anzi was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. Took very good care of us! Definitely the way to visit Giethoorn and miss the crazy bus traffic. Had a smaller boat which was so nice and more intimate feel of the village. Small group is much more at ease and comfortable. Loved having some free time to explore after the cool boat ride. Beautiful flowers in bloom. If you like history- the history museum is really good but you'll spend a lot of your time in there and away from explaining outside but I loved the museum. And we got to see how the country side Dutch villages look like as we drove through and even some beautiful tulip fields in bloom this time of year. Which was an added bonus. Anzi even explained how the Netherlands reclaimed land which is amazing how they did it!

5.00This is a MUST! We came for tulips and booked multiple other trips, but this was the BEST day we spent here! You’ll feel like you are on a Disney ride…like the village couldn’t possibly be real…but it is! Stop for lunch, get some coffee and make sure you take all the little boat ways!
