Founded by Romans in 77 B.C., Girona will surprise you in its fusion between past and present times. Marvel at the colourful façades of the houses on the shores of the Onyar River, walk through the Old Town of Girona to visit the Call, one of the most well preserved Jewish neighbourhoods in Europe. Continue your walking tour of Girona into the Old City Walls, dating back to roman times. You can’t miss the chance to enjoy the great panoramic views of the city. Have a look to the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world, dating back to the XI century. Pass by the Museum of Archaeology and the Arab Baths, a Romanesque construction of the 12th century inspired by Roman baths.

5.00Fun day. Chema is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. Long day but he entertained us throughout. Happy to be with him in the future - my biggest compliment! Comfortable van with A/C that coolest right down after walking around in the sun. Girona was an interesting town - appreciated the quaintness of the countryside as well as the colorful history of the area.

5.00A lovely day. Our guide Miguel was not only entertaining and humorous but also very knowledgeable. Easy to understand and converse with. The locations were great to see. I wasn't a huge fan of the choice of restaurant and would of preferred to dine at a nicer establishment but other than that it was a great day. Exchanged numbers with another couple who we enjoyed the trip alongside.
