Founded by Romans in 77 B.C., Girona will surprise you in its fusion between past and present times. Marvel at the colourful façades of the houses on the shores of the Onyar River, walk through the Old Town of Girona to visit the Call, one of the most well preserved Jewish neighbourhoods in Europe. Continue your walking tour of Girona into the Old City Walls, dating back to roman times. You can’t miss the chance to enjoy the great panoramic views of the city. Have a look to the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world, dating back to the XI century. Pass by the Museum of Archaeology and the Arab Baths, a Romanesque construction of the 12th century inspired by Roman baths.

5.00I had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Aleix. He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, patient, engaging, and passionate about the history and culture of Catalonia area of España. Throughout the day he shared fascinating facts, local insights, and interesting stories of his childhood life growing up in Girona and surrounding areas. Extremely disappointing tour in Girona and Costa Brava

1.00We were very disappointed in our experience on this tour with Aleix. Here are the reasons why: he was late, he delayed us with personal smoke breaks, he drove aggressively and was frequently distracted by his music and verbally insulting other drivers, did not bring us to the tour sites listed in the booking, left us on our own to find sites with limited time and no instructions, and gave very little explanation of what we were seeing or where we were going in several areas, did not adhere to the schedule and did not judge the amount of time our return would take causing us to be in traffic for 2 hours 30 minutes, and kept the car very warm causing discomfort, talked mostly about his interests in skiing and biking.
