Seljalandsfoss waterfall
One of Iceland's classic waterfalls, this one has a little twist. Certainly not one of Iceland's biggest waterfalls but what makes Seljalandsfoss different is that most of the year you can actually walk behind the cascading water. This really makes for a unique experience.
Skogafoss
Skogafoss is one of Iceland’s classic waterfalls and truly magnificent. 65 meters tall and 25 meters wide making it also one of the biggest waterfalls in the country. Legend has it that there is a chest of gold hidden behind the waterfall. You’ll have to be as strong as a viking to get to it though.

an amazing experience from start to finish, all topped off with a super friendly, knowledgable guide - Sven/Svenni. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five stars all round. could not recommend this experience more, if I tried. well worth the money and a whole day of adventuring under your belt.

This is the worst trip I've ever been on. It was a complete waste of money. The guide, Foxy, acted like he hated his job and was punishing me. The program is poorly planned; you spend most of your time driving, with 20 minutes at the attractions. The weather was terrible (it happens), but then it would have been better to cancel the trip or at least tell us to bring a change of clothes. We could also have changed the route and done the rest of the attractions first, and then the glacier. Of course, no one did. We sat in wet clothes for eight hours. On the glacier, the guide rushed, not even checking to see if anyone was coping or falling behind. I didn't even see Black Beach because the guide gave us 45 minutes to dry our soaked clothes, eat lunch, and see the beach. It was impossible to dry our clothes, we didn't have time for lunch (we didn't manage to eat anything for 10 hours because you have to choose between attractions or food, because you have so little time), and the weather was so bad that it was difficult to even get to the beach. In short, I spent eight hours on a bus in wet clothes, without lunch, and with only 20 minutes of entertainment. The organizers were so screwed up, it couldn't have been more frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy unless you want to be sick.

We visited the south of the island on this brilliant tour led by Sven. The glacier hike was a highlight, all equipment is provided and Sven was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. It is a magical way of experiencing Iceland and it did not feel busy nor did we feel rushed. Sven knew where the ice crevices were and we were able to drink from an icy glacial spring. We followed this by the visit to two waterfalls including Seljalandsfoss where you can walk behind the falls. We also visited the iconic black sand beach Reynisfjara and see the basalt cliff and the mesmerising waves. This is a wonderful way to see the highlights of the south and we couldn't have asked for a better guide in Sven. Thanks so much

The glacier hike was the best part of our trip! The only negative thing I have to say is that I would have loved to have a little more time at the black sand beach. We had 50 min but that included lunch and bathroom, so we couldn't stay at the beach for long. Our group was small (15 people I believe), and our driver Roberto was also the tour guide! He did a great job. Overall I definitely recommend this tour to people who want to see a lot in one day and have a little adventure hiking at the glacier. The landscapes you'll see are breathtaking!

We had Roberto as our guide and he was great! Very knowledgeable about the nature of Iceland and very experienced when it came to the glaciers. He took his time and was patient to make sure everyone was ready to go and we felt safe in his hands. He never rushed us and kept us entertained with Icelandic facts. We had a great time!

This tour was the highlight of the week for my son Henry and myself. Klaus was an outstanding guide and very informative professional and courteous throughout. The coach was really comfortable and after the storms of Monday we were blessed with good weather except at the Black beach but the wild winds made that even more dramatic. We loved both waterfalls and the beach but the glacier walk was something quite special and a once in a lifetime experience. Klaus had all the right safety kit and was patient with everyone and always safety conscious on the glacier. The journey up and down was long but with good stops and a constant update on the areas we passed our guide so we didn't mind at all. He told us so much about the island and the areas we passed through. Driving back the weather and roads had deteriorated but Klaus was really safe when negotiating them. A great tour. A great guide. A great company. Book it! Ian and Henry Hall.

I can’t recommend a tour enough. We started with a stop to a gas station to grab some snacks which was so nice as the place we stopped at for food was kinda pricey. Then we made our way to the glacier hike which was INCREDIBLE. We spent about 2 ish hours there and the weather was so amazing, we got so lucky. He made decisions on where to go based on where he thought it would be the least crowded which I really appreciated. He also had us go back to the waterfall at a later time because originally when we passed it, it was kind of cloudy, and he said it would be less likely to see the rainbow. Then we went to the black sand beach and 2 waterfalls. Throughout the whole trip our guide, Svenni, was so beyond informative. He told us about his families farm up north, life in Iceland, and all of the landscape around us. It was a perfect mix of information and also knowledge about what it's like here. He also played great music and let us relax as it was a long day. We had a northern lights tour to catch, and he helped us with our drop off location and told us exactly where to go to grab food and use the restroom (it was a pretty quick turnaround time😜) which was so nice. This was our favorite part of the trip hands down.

The experience, admission fee, atmosphere, length of visit, staff and crowd size is a 10/10. I cant recommend them enough. Sven was our tour guide he knows the glacier and waterfalls extremely well. He has great humor and really kept us all safe while being able to ensure a fun adventure. There were plenty of chances for bathroom breaks (if you are worried about that). If you're worried about the hike being challenging, it really is not. Any body can do the tour and if you're not in the best of shape just expect to be tired/sleepy when it is time to go home.

Excellent day out with ‘Glaciers and Waterfalls’ company (@glaciersandwaterfalls.is). We were so lucky with weather being a sunny day and very little wind. Our guide, Bessie, managed our safety with clear instructions for many using crampons for first time, and he clearly lives being out in nature on the glacier. He showed us ‘ice caves’ explained how they occur, and guided us safely. Very helpful and enthusiastic guide. Recommendation is to wear shoes with ankle support. Using crampons for first time felt so safe. Trip to black sand beach also amazing g and bonus of two waterfalls in way back. Definitely recommend. Liked the small group tour (think we had 16).

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever went to. The glacier hike was insane! Our tour guide, Lorenzo, was extremely knowledgeable and kept us safe during the glacier hike. The waterfalls and the black sand beach were so beautiful. I’m glad we were able to do so much in one day. Highly recommend!!
