• Great tour but no food 7 hours!

  We enjoyed the tour. We got to see the glacier lagoon, diamond beach, an Icelandic village and several viewpoints. I wasn't sure if the tour was offered just by the guide or whether it was a formal company since it was a 4 seater private car. She had a separate driver and they were both very friendly. Most of the educational part was from a recorded message playing on the radio. We also saw a few herds of reindeer and lots of sheep goats and Icelandic horses. The only frustration is they don't provide any food except for some Icelandic chocolates. For a 7 hour your that was a bit frustrating. We could have purchased food at the glacier lagoon but that was barely 2.5hrs in to the tour and we weren't super hungry yet. And it was nearly $400pp!

  The destinations were great and as advertised. However the tour left much to be desired. We were crammed into a small car (2 couples unknown to each other). Other passengers were large and the whole trip was very uncomfortable. There was no WiFi. The driver was Spanish- and knew very little English. He played a recording of Iceland but could not answer any questions. The company did have a minivan but used it for others on a shorter trip. Would only book this if the trip is in the minivan and the driver can speak English and knows about Iceland.

  The tour was very well organised, with timely pick up at the harbour. Comfortable minivan with excellent driver, convenient comfort breaks and well taken care of when we reached the lagoon and diamond beach. Would recommend
