Downtown Anchorage is a great place to start your local, guided exploration. Your exploration of the largest city in Alaska begins with a custom pick-up at your hotel. We share a bit of the history of Anchorage and begin your tour.

4.00Not really much glaciers to see and didn’t see much wildlife except for the wildlife refuge center, which has them caged up like in a zoo. Did see a really nice waterfall and see a moose and some goat.

5.00It was a great trip. Mark Rakozy was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions. We saw a moose in the wild as well as several bald eagles. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this trip and Mark, as well.
Highly recommend for solo travelers.

5.00It is very relaxing. The city of Anchorage part of the tour was more thorough than expected and very informational. The portion of the trip south toward Whittier was filled with beautiful mountains and scenery the entire way. Mark, our guide, was informative, easy going, and just a great guy all the way around. He was patient with all of our many questions and it was obvious he wanted us to see and appreciate this beautiful part of the country he loves so much. We were blessed to get close up views of a moose in the wild as well as a bald eagle. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was a great part of the day and much better than I thought it would be. The tour exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates mountains, beautiful scenery, and wildlife. Great job Mark…well done! It was an A+, 5 star day!
