We loved the arena floor tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept the tour moving. He used photos to educate us and the group size was just right.

We were with walks/devour- and it was awful. The guide, ValentIna., was rude and not accommodating at all. One of my party, which does not hear well, asked if we could wait for the group and not climb Palatine Hill. She refused to discuss it and said if you left the group, you would have to give her your radio. My friend discovered he had left his phone at the security check point. And he went back to get it. She got very upset and told us his wife would HAVE TO GO GET HIM IMMEDIATELY ( she was so worried about the radio) she was getting more agitated and told MY WIFE to go get her husband (not his wife). He called his wife and said he had the phone and was on his way back, She kept insisting that we go get him while he was in route back. She kept insisting that we go get him and his wife and mine explained he was coming. My wife told her she was not listening - he was on his way. My friend arrived and she was still ranting about the radio. Rather than make a big argument, I took off my radio and told her we were done. Meanwhile, she kept the rest of the group waiting while she rated about her radio. I was aggravated and disappointed because we paid a lot of money for this tour and we did not get to see it. Her rudeness and lack of concern about the entire group was inexcusable. I wouldn’t give a one on the ratings if there was a lower number. The lack of professionalism is appalling and IWOLD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. I wasted over $600.00 dollars.

Davide was extremely knowledgeable which added a lot to the Colosseum tour. He took the time to explain things thoroughly and we never felt rushed, which added to thrle experience. I'd also add his dry sense of humour was a hit with us. Overall it was well worth the price and I'd highly recommend them as a tour operator.

Manuela was the perfect guide for this tour!! She was very knowledgeable about the Colosseum and the history of the surrounding area; but more imporantly, she was also very enthusiastic. This was a full 3-1/2 hour tour, and it went by so quickly because of Manuela's fantastic observations and discussion. I highly recommend this tour! Also, the meeting location, across the street from a cafe, was great. We had a wonderful meal/drinks at the cafe (yes, it is touristy... but it was delicious) prior to the tour. Not sure what is more cool, than having a meal while looking across the street to the Colosseum, absolutely wonderful.

It was a really great and informative experience. Our guide was great. However the tour stated small size 16 people or less and we were well over 16 people. Other than having a larger group the tour was great.
