Big disappointment. We took the Skunk Train out of Willits last year and had an awesome time. 5 out of 5. This year went out of Fort Bragg and train ride was only 20 minutes with very little to see. The Glen Blair Bar was nice but lacked substance. For the price we could have just stayed in town and had a nice dinner. Highly recommend the Willits train. Pass on the Fort Bragg experience. They need to offer a bbq or some type of food other than snacks. If you plan to go, bring your own food and have a picnic.

We had a wonderful experience, we were lucky enough to get seats on the 630 train to give us plenty of quality time at Glen Blair. I thought their drink prices were reasonable, my husband enjoyed the IPA and the rest in our group split a bottle of the red blend. The music was really good. The fire pits were fantastic. Loved that the chairs had slide out cupholders. Just wish they had a few small portable tables to put in front of the chairs for the food.

The man singing was great. Bathrooms were nice except for lots of water on the floors. Everyone was very nice.I feel the price is very expensive for a ride to Glen Blair Bar.

We were disappointed that The Skunk Train allows under 21 attendees. Take first train as the bar area fills up and there were not many seats. We dressed for the cool evening, but there were not enough heaters/fire pits and some were not working - not to mention children having toys on seats there were not sitting upon, as they walked through other people’s areas and dropped food - not that the Skunk train is responsible for their behavior but allowing children would prevent this. It was a nice experience but the amount of ticket, having to purchase drinks, we would not do again. Staff was very nice.

The Skunk Train is a must…. wife and I had a great time….music, met other couples, fire pits….all added to the experience! Only complaint was that they were a little vague about times coming back!

Great experience! Took the 6:30 train out so we could snag 8 seats by a fire pit. Great musician , good drinks. The .9 mile loop was a perfect walk. Lots of friendly people and dogs. Good idea to bring some snacks.

Large firepits and refreshments with live music at the bar. Nice short train ride, just a fun event.

We went with another couple this time. My husband and I had this adventure together a year ago and thought it would be fun with another couple. When it was just the two of us we bought one of the Skunk Train’s food offerings. This time we both brought food. This is lots of fun and we hope to do it again soon! The live music is enjoyable and the setting is very nice.

It’s definitely a must do. Dress warm and in layers, it gets a bit chilly. I highly recommend standing on the outside/open platform,on the train ride back. The stars at night are amazing.

Absolutely amazing. It felt magical and was unlike any train ride I’d ever taken. The drive through the redwoods into an amazing brilliant lighted entertainment in the middle of nowhere.
