We’ll travel to Glencoe and the ‘Road to the Isles’, from Fort William to Glenfinnan. Luss
Luss is on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Not only will we stop here for morning refreshments, but to enjoy some wonderful views of Loch Lomond. Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most southerly Munro, (mountains over 3000 feet high) can also be viewed from here.
Glencoe
Glencoe was the setting to one of the most infamous periods in Scottish history, the Glencoe massacre which took place in 1692. The beautiful scenery is a visitors must see. We stop at Glencoe Visitor Centre to allow time to learn more about the history of the glen. The centre is also home to the turf house where you‘ll be able to see what life must have been like for the 500-600 strong community that lived here in 17th century Glencoe. We travel through the glen twice (morning and evening) and stop for photos and to take in the landscape while we are there.

This was a wonderful day trip on such a lovely tour bus. Dave was our driver and guide and was amazing! His driving was very easy and had some of the best stories and history. The weather held out pretty well for us so we got some amazing views and pictures of the viaduct and so many other stops with highland countryside views. Would absolutely recommend this tour and I’m hoping to do another tour with this company in the near future.

From the moment we met, their passion for Scotland was contagious. You can tell this isn’t just a job. It is a love story set in the Highlands, among castles, legends, and even the unpredictable weather. David didn’t just recite facts, he brought Scotland to life. Cool music background too on the trip. And the humour? Absolutely top-tier. The perfect mix of clever, cheeky, and well-timed. Even the rain felt like part of the entertainment. What really stood out was his depth of knowledge. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring with a brilliant, hilarious friend who just happens to know everything about Scotland. Our group definitely enjoyed it. The van was nice and tidy too. If you want a guide who’s passionate about life, proud of his country, wildly knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to spend the day with this is the one. Highly recommend. Thank you, Michael…Oops! David 😆

Our experience with Discover Scotland Tours was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, the company was professional and treated us excellently. Our guide, Tony, was truly spectacular. He was so attentive, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. His personality made the trip even more special. The Highlands are breathtaking, and thanks to this tour, we’ve come away with such beautiful memories. The tour is completely worth it and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Scotland. Thank you, Tony, for an unforgettable day!

Oh my, okay; so, long story short my friend, Brittany, came with me on my first “solo” trip outside the U.S. and Scotland has ALWAYS been my destination spot. She booked a day trip with Discover Scotland and we had this amazing guy, Colin, as our driver. He is truly and genuinely an amazing guide and driver! Fully transparent about the road ahead of us and the cool and beautiful things we were about to see, he included a really awesome playlist and had cool folklore stories to tell. Colin, you truly were not only professional but great to chat with; like conversing with an old friend. Cannot wait to be back to Scotland; definitely booking with Discover Scotland again! Prayers the end of the year was well and your New Year has been a blessing for you and everyone!

Very nice experience! The tour experience was managed without any hiccups and we were bang on time with the itinerary. Tony, our tour leader, was fantastic and his nuggets of Scottish history and sense of humor was a nice addition to our trip. Highly recommend going with this tour operator!
