Join us for a short small group tour to the famous Goðafoss Waterfall, one of the most popular tourist destination in North Iceland. On the way back to Akureyri we drive along the coast of Eyjafjordur, one of the longest fjords in Iceland where you can see over the fjord to Akureyri and take a great photo. From there, we stop at the Forest Lagoon, a geothermal spa resort located across from Akureyri. It includes infinity pools with swim-up bars, a sauna and a cold tub and offers great views across the Eyjafjordur fjord.

What To Expect
Godafoss
Goðafoss Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. Nicknamed the Waterfall of the Gods due to its history. In the year 1000, Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði made Christianity the official religion of Iceland and proceeded with throwing his statues of gods into the waterfall. The water falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters.

5.00Our guide Krista was incredible! Smart, funny and informative. The waterfall was amazing and the forest lagoon was most relaxing. I would recommend the forest lagoon over the blue lagoon near Reykjavik for sure. Much less crowded much less expensive.

3.00The experience was not as described. The waterfall allowed 40 minutes Vaolaheioi Utsynispallur did not happen… We were dropped at the forest lagoon (but not picked back up). The falls were beautiful, and the lagoon was great… tour was just not as described.

4.00They were easy to find right outside the cruise terminal. When I messaged them they responded and answered all my questions. We were a full van. The guide was very kind. I wish there was a little more information about Iceland as we were driving. The driver was a good safe driver and I felt safe. We stopped at a waterfall and I wish we had more time. There were two sides and we only had time to see one. If I am ever back in Iceland I would trust and book with this company again. The forest lagoon was also amazing. The drinks were very $$$.
