What To Expect
Thingvellir National Park
One of Iceland's most famous places. This is where the Vikings assembled every summer to discuss the law, make convictions and of course practice politics of their time (something that really hasn't changed much in 1.000 years) The National Park is also a unique place in terms of geology for this is the place where you can clearly see how the Tectonic Plates are pulling apart in Iceland.
Site de Geysir
We visit the hot spring area in Haukadalur the home of Geysir - the geyser all geysers are named after. Though the old Geysir has been dormant for some time his little brother Strokkur is erupting beautifully every few minutes.

5.00This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. This was my first time in Iceland and I am glad to say that I it was everything I had imagined and more because of Reykjavik Erupts. Our tour guide, Dofri, was truly amazing and very knowledgeable. He would often grace us with many stories about the local culture, sites, and his own life, which made the whole experience feel a lot more personal compared to what you would get from one of those large tour companies. If you are planning a trip to Iceland and want an unforgettable experience, I would highly recommend booking with Reykjavik Erupts.

5.00Thank you to Dofri for being an amazing guide! He was very patient and we were able to get a beautiful view of the northern lights. He really put in a lot of effort to make sure we had a good experience and brought a lot of enthusiasm and humor even when it was taking a bit to find anything at first. Would definitely recommend! He had a lot of fun and historical stories and it was great having him as our guide for the Golden Circle as well. We had no regrets booking!

5.00Dofiri was an amazing guide, with so much patience as we hunted the northern lights. He also brough up the energy by making us sing and not letting us lose our enthusiasm whenever we got too cold! Would definetely recommend him for a tour!

5.00WOW!!! What an amazing couple of days exploring, we did the Golden Circle and South Coast Tour.. Dofri was amazing, from the very start his communication was brilliant, he was patient and advised us along the way when booking excursions. We would definitely recommend Dofri and Reykjavik Erupts he was so warm, friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and he even made us sing for the Northern Lights to appear!! He brought along his dog, she was quiet, friendly and kept my daughter entertained.. :) Do not hesitate to book your excursions through Reykjavik Erupts you will not be disappointed, it was effortless and easy. We will definetly book our future trips to Iceland through this company.
