Bruarfoss Waterfall
Brúarfoss is one of Iceland's most beautiful but lesser-known waterfalls. Located on the Brúará River in the southern part of the country, near the famous Golden Circle, Brúarfoss is renowned for its striking blue water, which is caused by mineral deposits and the purity of the water. 5.00Our family of four had a fantastic day trip with North Escape. Sorin, our driver and guide, was incredibly passionate about the sights, and his knowledge—so broad and engaging—made the experience even more enriching. We learned so much from him across a wide range of topics. As a private tour, everything felt thoughtfully tailored to our preferences, from lunch choices to the pace of the day. We even completed the original itinerary ahead of schedule, and Sorin made the most of the extra time by taking us to additional sights while still keeping everything perfectly on track. Communication with North Escape beforehand, as well as with Sorin before and during the tour, was prompt and clear throughout. Overall, we highly recommend the company, the tour, and especially Sorin. We’d gladly give six stars if we could.

5.00Superb day with our guide Jakob who made sure every stop was perfect. We adjusted our itinerary to see new places and old favourites. There was no rush and interesting facts along the way. Great to have a couple of extra surprise stops which made our daughter's day. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend North Escape or Jakob for this or any other tour. Queries before and after booking were quickly answered and gave me assurance everything was in hand.

5.00A great tour with 6 stops that left nothing to be desired. We were picked up at the hotel by our tour guide Alex in the morning and he showed us the best spots along the Golden Circle over the course of a wonderful day to hike, enjoy, take photos or just look and marvel. We had exactly the time we wanted and needed everywhere. He showed us great perspectives and also took beautiful photos of our whole family. The day left nothing to be desired and we would do the tour exactly the same at any time!

5.00We had a wonderful Golden Circle tour with Alexander, who picked us up right at the cruise port in a comfortable car. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about Iceland and its history. We spent the whole day exploring stunning waterfalls, geysers, and national parks. Alexander shared many interesting stories along the way and made the experience truly memorable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great guide in Iceland — Alexander is a true professional and a pleasure to travel with!

5.00The Golden Circle is a very popular tour out of Reykjavik. Many tour buses. Many schedules. Many people. This private day tour avoids all of that. Some sights may be the same, but the independence from the "fixed" tours allows you to see things that others never will. A spry, enthusiastic and joyful young man, Jakob was an excellent guide who went out of his way to ensure that we had the experience we wanted. We went at our pace. We could stop anywhere for any reason for any period of time. If we wanted to hike we could. If we didn't want to hike, we didn't. If we wanted to take a photo, we stopped. When we were ready to move on, we did. Throughout the tour, Jakob was by our side. He explained everything. He took us to the popular sights, and to some very interesting, seemingly unknown, locations. We had a great time! Additionally, he was constantly looking after our comfort. He provided water and snacks. He took us to a fantastic tomato farm for lunch where we had an amazing meal at a leisurely pace. At every stop he offered to take our picture. I can't think of a better way to see the amazing sights of the golden circle! If we ever need anything in Reykjavik, we'll be calling Jakob for another amazing adventure!

5.00Absolutely perfect one day in the Reykjavik area. Ask for Jacob to be your guide. He went above and beyond to make our one day full of special memories. We hit all the highlights of the Golden Circle, plus several extra stops ( horses, blue waterfall, lunch at Tomato Farm, and bubbling mud pots). Our day ended with a drive through old town and a stop at the beautiful church in Reykjavik. We were never rushed at any stop and were back right in time. Don’t hesitate to book this tour.
