I had a wonderful experience with our guide, Jörundur Rafn Arnarson. He explained every sightseeing spot with great professionalism and shared many personal stories during the drive, which made the journey much more enjoyable. You can truly feel his passion for his work. Before departing, he also carefully checked the headcount to ensure everyone was on board, very thoughtful! The driver’s(Car number, VV V06, i forgot his name, sorry) skills were excellent as well. I felt completely safe throughout the trip. Although the weather today was terrible, the professionalism and positive energy from both Jörundur and the driver became the happiest part of my day. I even decided to give them tips at the end because they genuinely deserved it. Despite the gloomy weather, Jörundur reminded us to stay positive and share joy with others, something that really lifted my mood. I sincerely hope future travelers joining this tour will have better weather, enjoy the experience, and capture lots of beautiful photos.

Fantasic experience. Anna the tour guide with her historic facts and sound effects and the driver Michael who drove seamlessly were amazing. Even in limited daylight they made sure we had plenty of time to see everything without rushing us. The lunch spot we stopped was delicious and had plenty of gluten free options which was important for me. The only “negative” I have was wishing we did the secret lagoon last- it would have allowed more time to see the golden circle in the light and feel more relaxed at the “end.” Otherwise highly highly recommend

This day was packed with the best sights of the Golden Circle. What a thrill to get soaked in the Secret Lagoon, a cosy, relatively private hot spring.! Anna was an outstanding guide who was full of knowledge, enthusiasm, and humor. She is well travelled and could put things in comparative perspective. A wonderful bonus was to learn so much from her about the geography, culture, and history of Iceland. Michael, her working partner, was a dependable driver.

Amazing tour to be in! Probably I would recommend to visit it in other times due to the short span of daylight, but anyway worth it even now!! Well-executed in terms of time, you are not in a rush with a Secret Lagoon, there would be a stop to have a proper meal, wifi on board works well. And of course kudos to Michael the Driver and Anna, the absolute Icelandic Treasure of a human!!! So kind and energetic, telling us charming stories all day long. God bless you Anna, even if I went alone I never felt lonely on my birthday thanks to you <33 many many thanks, would do the trips again with the company!

Anna is very knowledgeable of history and even gave us geology, mythology, religion fun facts throughout the day! It was never boring, and the trip was very efficient given the fact that we only have 4 hours of daylight today. Michael is an excellent driver as well!

A fantastic Golden Circle experience with a relaxing lagoon stop This Golden Circle tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Iceland. We visited several impressive waterfalls, each with its own unique character, and spent time exploring the national park, where the landscape and geological features were truly breathtaking. The highlight for me was the stop at the Secret Lagoon, which was the perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing. The guide was professional and informative, sharing interesting stories and background throughout the journey. The schedule was well balanced and never felt rushed. Overall, this tour combined nature, relaxation, and great organization, and I would highly recommend it.

The tour was great- our tour guide Anna was the star of the day. Should be declared a national treasure, she is so good! Our driver Michael was quietly confident and a brilliant driver..

A great trip. Everything was seamless and. well planned. Despite being a large bus Captain Thor & Sunny created a friendly atmosphere which made the trip great fun. We really benefited from having the secret lagoon pretty much just for our party too! It was the second trip we took with Bus Travel Iceland (& Captain Thor) and we thought it was excellent.

Golden Circle is a must see. Secret Lagoon is super nice. Natural hot water from under ground. Not so many people, not too commercialized. The shower/locker room is very clean. Kerid is just so beautiful. Our guide is very very nice, she told us so much about Iceland, including the history, culture, people... At the end, she offered to drop us in downtown, so we can enjoy our night life early.

Our tour guides, Heidi and Thor, were fantastic. They had loads of interesting stories and facts to share and were always welcoming to any questions. However, the pickup and transfer to the meeting point were a bit dodgy. We were expecting the white bus with the logo (as described on the pickup details) but a red mini-bus turned up. We only realised this when we got a phone call saying we hadn’t made the pickup. Luckily, the bus was just in front of us. It’s understandable why some reviewers were left behind. We’ve used Reykjavík Excursions for a south coast tour and if we were to go here again, we’d definitely choose them over bus travel Iceland. Their buses are much larger with more legroom and the overall experience was just a bit better.
