What To Expect
Thingvellir National Park
Explore Iceland’s most important historical site and one of its most remarkable geological wonders. Þingvellir is where the Icelandic parliament was founded in 930 and where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, creating dramatic landscapes and deep fissures. Here you will also see Lake Þingvallavatn, Iceland’s largest natural lake, fed by crystal-clear water that travels underground for decades before emerging.
Geysir
Walk among steaming vents, boiling pools, and vibrant mineral springs in Iceland’s most active geothermal park. Watch Strokkur geyser erupt dramatically every 5–7 minutes — sometimes sending boiling water up to 40 meters into the air. You will also encounter Blesi, a beautiful pair of contrasting hot springs, one crystal-clear and steaming, the other cold and vividly blue.

5.00We had a wonderful time on the Golden Circle, Friðheimar Tomato Farm & Laugarás Lagoon tour with our guide. The tour was informative and we definitely learned a lot about Iceland in the process. The Tomato Farm lunch was outstanding, best tomato soup we have ever had! We very much enjoyed the geothermal spa at the end of the day to relax before heading home. Highly recommend this tour! The staff in the TourDesk office were extremely helpful in arranging for us to join this tour.

5.00We had an amazing day with Glaciers and Waterfalls. I live in Iceland but had never really taken the time to visit these sights properly, so it was extra special to finally go with my family who came to visit me. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and our tour leader was very friendly, relaxed, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. The day felt unhurried, with plenty of time to take in the views and enjoy each stop. We had a super nice bus as well. We all came away very satisfied and with great memories and made some friends. I would happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland, or even locals like myself who haven’t yet explored these places properly. Thank you for the whole Glaciers and Waterfalls Team!! :)

5.00We had an amazing day on the Golden Circle with Lorenzo. It was a small, intimate tour. Lorenzo was super knowledgeable and was a great hang. I’m afraid to take other tours because he set the bar so high!

5.00Our guide Einur (...sorry I'm not 100% on the spelling!) was fantastic! He was fun (and funny!), knowledgeable (as one would expect from a local), an excellent driver, and very helpful. Since there were only 6 of us in total on this trip, he gave us some tips on doing a little extra at some of the stops as we had a bit more time than if we'd been a larger group. He took some photos for us at the greenhouse, and I got to entertain him with explaining why someone from Hawaiʻi would get a degree in Scandinavian studies! The Laugarás Lagoon was amazing. The sodas they make there with herbs they pick locally are delicious. 10/10, would highly recommend to anyone, and would happily do it again some day!
So happy we took this tour ! We arrived in Iceland on Thurs am and took the tour on Friday . 10hrs we loved it all

5.00It was an out of this world experience. The guide was very friendly and informative. The tomato farm was a good one, one perfect Instagram experience. All you can eat tomato soup and the bread was something else. Who knew there was a tomato beer and a tomato icecream...amazing

5.00We did the Golden Circle, Fridheimar Tomato farm, Laugaras Lagoon tour today. Our guide was Sven who was personable, very knowledgeable, and fun. He gave us historical back ground on each of the places we visited. It was an awesome time! The day was ended with a visit to the newest geothermal spa, Laugaras lagoon! I would highly recommend Waterfalls and Glaciers’ Golden Circle tour.

5.00This is a great day tour, combining the best of the golden circle in the morning, lunch amongst the cherry tomato plants and an afternoon relaxing at the Laugarás lagoon. We had a fantastic time with our guide Einar, chatting about the country, its history and landscape. The lagoon has great new facilities and is blissfully uncrowded (for now!). Our 9 year old daughter was able to join (admission to the lagoon is 8yrs+) and loved it. For our first visit to Iceland, this tour gave us a lot to see and varied experiences in one day. I highly recommend it!

5.00I booked with Glaciers and Waterfalls at short notice when another company unexpectantly cancelled our original tour. Unlike the first company, although we were the only people booked the tour went ahead as planned. Our guide was interesting and knowledgeable with a great selection in en-route music. He stopped in a couple of extra places so we could take photos and was very relaxed with the schedule giving us extra time at some locations when we wanted it. We chose the Golden Circle, Tomato Farm and Lagoon Tour. It ranks as one of my most favourite days ever. The three Golden circle locations were spectacular. The food at the tomato farm was delicious. It was so amazing to go from an icy snow-covered car park to a restaurant which felt like a warm spring day. Inside was filled with tomato plants and dotted with flowers in the middle of February. After the tomato farm was the lagoon. It was spotlessly clean, modern with lovely changing rooms and facilities. The lagoon had beautiful views over snow covered hills and there were no more than 20 people in the lagoon at any time, drinks were varied and really tasty. I cannot recommend this company and this tour highly enough. The day out will last long in my memory and I would do the whole day again given half a chance.
