Nyboders Mindestuer
If you are going to get to the heart of hygge, you need to go back in time. We begin our Hygge & Happiness tour near the characteristic yellow houses of Nyboder, a famed local district. Here you’ll meet and greet your native guide and your group for the day. Your native guide is a bona fide Copenhagener who is super excited to share their knowledge of Danish culture with you, as well as local historical secrets that you won’t find in any guidebooks! And because our tours are for small groups only, your guide has plenty of time to answer
Copenhagen
Your tour takes you through the oldest parts of the city, where you experience hidden gems in the form of cobblestone-filled streets, timber-framed houses, and green refuges of calm amongst the urban sprawl. Krusemyntegade is one of the cobblestone-filled streets that just scream hygge with that old world charm. It’s a great example of how hyggelig our city can be if you just take the time to wander.

This experience was Hygge!!! Now we know the Danish secret😜 Our guide Katinka was fun and personable . It was a lovely way to spend a morning . Copenhagen opened up to us, in our guides capable hands. Enjoyed the company of other participants.

Enjoyable stroll around this wonderful city, getting to know more about the people, getting to see some of the 'green' parts and enjoying some tasty treats.

Katinka was a fabulous host. She taught about Hygge and we truly got to experience it. We had a pastry as we got to know the other travelers. Our travelers took us through several small courtyards and parks. We stopped on one of the parks for a special treat. We walked through the main shopping district and ended with a sit down for a non alcoholic drink. We spent at least half an hour there talking and enjoying ourselves. If you are in Copenhagen just to see the sights, this is probably not the tour for you, but if you want to experience life on Copenhagen, this was a fantastic experience!

It was a wonderful introduction to Copenhagen! We went all over the city, learned fascinating facts about its history and monarchs, and tasted delicious pastries. The small group ensured that it was easy to both hear and follow our guide Liva. And she was OUTSTANDING! Funny, informative, and insightful into Danish culture.

Oscar D. was an excellent guide that worked hard to be informative and engaging. He personalized his presentation at each stop and tried to make personal contact with us throughout the tour. It was a small group which allowed us time to get to know each other. Oscar told very interesting facts and stories throughout the tour. I would recommend to tour to everyone who wants to enjoy a well paced tour with refreshment stops along the way included in the tour.
