Absolutely stunning scenery. The weather was perfect for our day but I think the experience would be a lot different on a rainy day. Well worth the cost

My husband & I have done this cruise several times previously. We choose the upper deck for the views & the attentive service of the allocated crew members. This time, the experience exceeded every expection due to the incredible attention to detail of the 'dynamic duo' who attended our every need. They were Hannah & Kelly. It was a full boat but they made sure everyone on the upper deck was well fed, well watered & well entertained. They knew all about the local produce & wines & passed on their vibrant 'passion' for Tasmanian products to the passengers. The two guides , James & Claire, knew their stuff and supplemented the brilliant audio-visual presentation. The Sarah Island visit was equally informative with Lyle who passed on the information with an individual flair. A brilliant day despite the weather with many thanks ,again, to Kelly & Hannah for making it a special day.

From the time we arrived and boarded the vessel, we treated very special, all staff were great, the food was exceptional and l couldn't fault anything except the weather, and that didn't even put a damper on the day

Great day out, interesting and informative talks and walks, v nice lunch. Staff were charming and helpful. The boat itself is lovely, v comfortable seats with a good view of the surroundings (we opted for window seats) and lots of deck space if you want to be outside. Captain having an open wheelhouse was brilliant. If you're hard of hearing ask for a seat near the pa system.

An amazing trip that will live in the memory for a long time. The comfortable boat explores parts of Macquarie Harbour before entering the Gordon River, which is the highlight of the day. On entering the river, the boat switches to battery power allowing a greater appreciation of the wonderful, serene forests that encroach to the river's edges. A short stop is made for a walk through the forest, which lets one gain an appreciation of this wonderful environment. On the return from the river, another stop is made at Sarah Island to view the ruins of the former convict settlement. The downside to this trip is the toxic salmon farm located in Macquarie Harbour - an environmental disaster.
