We made 3 excursions during our stay with Senegal Excursions (Gorée + pink lake, Bandia + lions, shell island + Mbour). We especially thank Max and Alpha for the unforgettable moments we had, for discovering the region and the culture. Thanks also to Fatou and his family for their Welcoming. If it were to be done again, it would be without hesitation with Senegal Excursions. Don't change anything! Michael and Aurélie

We did 5 outings with Senegal Excursions, it was great! Thanks to Fatou, max and Adama for their kindness! We also thank their parents who welcomed us for an excellent meal. Their father is a well of knowledge, his wisdom a source of inspiration. Not to mention Moctar with whom we spent our best moments!

We had the chance to participate in several family excursions during our stay in Senegal, and each one was exceptional! The organization was perfect, the guides passionate and very professional, always listening and eager to make us discover their country with authenticity and kindness. 🏝 Day on Gorée Island: full of history and emotion. 🐘 Safari at Bandia Reserve: impressive to see animals in semi-free range in a natural setting. 🐬 Discovery of Lac Rose + magical 4/4 ride on the Dakar rally route A huge thank you to the whole team: Fatou, Max, Mokthar and Omar for their warm Welcoming, punctuality, we felt like a member of their family. This trip will remain etched in our memories! We highly recommend Senegal Excursion to all those who wish to experience Senegal differently, between nature, culture and human encounters. Famille Amel.

An incredible day with the super Max! He went to the little care for us, we felt nice. The island of Goree that I already knew, I rediscovered it with his knowledge and his little anecdotes, lunch was good. The nice pink lake and big crush for the 4x4 at the end Max is very open and we could ask him lots of questions. Driver on top also. We felt confident. Thank you bcp to Fatou for the organization. It is super well structured and it is tjr present when needed. Bravo.

Visiting Gorée Island was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Senegal. While the island is known for its heartbreaking connection to the transatlantic slave trade—a history that always leaves me emotional—this time, I found myself also drawn to the vibrant, present-day life that thrives there. The island is small and easy to explore on foot, with charming cobbled pathways and colourful colonial-era buildings that add to its unique atmosphere. There’s a palpable mix of history and resilience everywhere you look. Our guide, Fallou, was fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the island. He lives on Gorée and seemed to know everyone! His insights added depth and meaning to our tour, and he helped us feel connected to the place beyond just its past. We had a simple but delicious lunch of fresh seafood at a local, nondescript restaurant—fresh, flavorful, and just what we needed after a walk through the island. Vendors selling local art and souvenirs are friendly but persistent—don’t be shy to bargain hard, starting at about 20% of the initial asking price. It’s all part of the experience! The boat ride from Dakar was smooth and took less than 30 minutes. Just a tip: bring your passport, as security at the port is tight (in a good way), though the island itself feels very safe and peaceful. A deeply enriching day—Gorée is a must-visit.

We have just returned from Senegal where we stayed at Palm Beach in Saly and we made three outings with Senegal Excursions in a small or even very small group (Bush and Solidarity Day, Gorée Island and Rose Lake, M'Bour market) and we do not regret it. Everything was perfect. Pick up and drop off at the hotel. Thanks to Fatou for his responsiveness during our email exchanges before our departure. Thanks to Moctar, Djibril and Max for their kindness, availability, smile and many explanations about their country and their way of life. Excellent moments of meeting, sharing, conviviality, and immersion in Senegalese life, always in a good mood. I do not forget to thank our driver Alfa who always transported us safely and in comfort. Senegal Excursions helped us to love Senegal. We will return and will not fail to call on you for new adventures... Lionel and Fabienne

We made five excursions with this agency, no worries, everything was perfect. I especially thank Fatou for his professionalism, the guides picked us up from the hotel, always extremely punctual, the timing of the excursions was well respected, the guides were very friendly and we shared beautiful moments. Senegal excursion allowed us a very beautiful discovery of Africa. We did the Safari at Bandia reserve, the day at Goree and Pink Lake (unfortunately the lake is no longer pink, there is no longer really salt harvest), the arrival of fishermen at the market of M'Bour, impressive, the quad trip in the lagoon of the Somone and the baobab forest, very popular, of our teenagers, the visit of villages in the bush as well as the school. In this regard, if you are planning this visit, and if you wish not to arrive empty-handed in the school, especially you can bring back school supplies from France.
