Haga is a city district in Gothenburg, Sweden, renowned for its picturesque wooden houses, 19th century-atmosphere and cafés. Originally a working class suburb of the city with a rather bad reputation, it was gradually transformed into a popular visiting place for tourists and Gothenburgers.
Kungsportsavenyen, commonly known as Avenyn, stretches from the bridge Kungsportsbron by the canal to Götaplatsen and the Museum of Art, the City Theatre and the Concert Hall. The main boulevard is busy all day until late.

5.00Take the tour in the daylight as you miss much of the beauty of the city. We walked around Gothenburg on our own and saw much. A beautiful city. Our tour with Marko showed us a different atmosphere of Gothenburg. It was quite beautiful to see the streets light up with Christmas lights.

5.00Andes was knowledgeable and personable. He taught us the art of fika and some of the local nuisances like candy is only for Saturdays. He even took us to a candy shop to finish the day. Had beautiful views of the city from the hill.
