Margreet was very detailed in the history of Gouda, No no cheese factory though because it was closed. I wish the operator informed us ahead.

This tour gave us a newfound appreciation for cheese, thanks to the knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. The visit to the Gouda Cheese Museum was fascinating, and for us, a highlight was the cheese tasting at the Gouda Cheese Experience store. If you find yourself anywhere near Gouda, don’t hesitate to indulge in this your for this iconic Dutch delicacy.

We sampled some of the best cheese of Gouda. The tour guide made this a pleasant touristic experience with the focus on the famous Gouda cheese, with sampling of many of it's varieties. We enjoyed this tour.

I struggle with this review as it had nothing to do with tasting cheese and everything to do with the history of the town of Gouda. First, I signed up for tour to sample and taste the magnificent Gouda cheese… only to discover that the description of the tour had changed since my purchase and the sampling was no longer included, but a separate cost! The two guides that gave us the tour were extremely knowledgeable of the history of Gouda and did an amazing job of relating the information to us! Definitely well worth the tour for the knowledge. I really enjoyed the tour but it wasn’t the tour I had planned upon!

The tour guide made this exhibit of Gouda cheese, an interactive tour and I got to learn about history of this well-known cheese and the unique tradition behind it, as well as it's cheesemaking process. For those of you who are fond of centuries-old traditions, taking this Gouda cheese tasting tour will be a delight.

We will be in Gouda on Sunday and wanted to take a tour of a cheese factory. It says that the cheapest tour is 400 euro per person. Is this a typo.... Way too expensive
