Marc customized a terrific and inventive scavenger hunt for our group of 12 that was clever and entertaining. Follow up was an engaging art class and the finale was an outdoor BbQ overlooking the lake. Marc’s communication and planning was impeccable and the guests were totally impressed and pleased with the experience he crafted

We had a great time on this wine walk in Lavaux!! Marc was helpful giving us clear instructions to take the train from our hotel in Lausanne to meet up with him. We walked through the vineyards and beautiful terraces. Marc was very knowledgeable about the area, the history, and wine, but he was also a lot of fun. He took pictures of us, knew the winemakers personally, ensured we got behind-the-scenes tours, even brought snacks. We have done wine tours all over the world and this one is a stand out!

This was a thoroughly enjoyable day. We were blessed with great weather, which always helps. From the moment we met Marc we knew we were on a winner. His enthusiasm and knowledge was first rate. The walk through the terraces wasn’t too strenuous, and the reward was the informative and entertaining session with winemaker Blaise Duboux. And of course enjoying his wine. The lunch interlude at Auberge du Vigneron was delightful. Authentic Swiss fare complemented with local wines. We would have liked a second session with another wine maker rather than ending with a tasting at the Lutry Wine Cooperative. Nevertheless we tasted some nice wines and had the opportunity to purchase local wines. This is not a cheap excursion but we do not regret what we paid.

Amazing! Marc was great! It was raining a wee bit but that was not a bother! We got a heap of info about the area and the wine and were spoilt with plenty of tastings and a nice bottle to take back to NZ! This is a unique way to do a wine tour.. Marc is fun and knowledgeable and a Kiwi still at heart! Thank you

A great opportunity to sample little know Swiss wines and learn about the climate and ‘valleys’ of Lavaux. If you can, get Marc for the guide. He is a great story teller, absolutely knows the people, region and wines, and has an interesting background hailing from New Zealand. A great guy and foot tour guide. Make sure you sip the 1887 Vermouth. This is a great afternoon excursion with a good lunch and plenty of wine.

The wine tasting at Lavaux region definitely was an excellent choice and experience with Marc, our tour guide was very knowledgeable in the region’s history and wine. We visited Domaine Blaise Duboux, 3rd generation wine maker at Epesses who shared with us plenty of his wine making experience, topped off with gourmet lunch with excellent view at Auberge du vigneron and wine chocolate pairing at Terres de Lavaux. You will not be disappointed!!

This was such an enjoyable tour. We were met by Marc at the train station and we wandered the vineyards peppered with lots of stories along the way. Meeting the winemaker while enjoying his wines was a highlight, and that’s before our lunch overlooking the village! We all had fun and great wine selections. The final part of our tour took us by ferry to Lutry for a really different tasting that Marc kept a secret. Totally recommend this gourmet day out for family groups, friends or colleagues. Thanks for a totally memorable experience.

With a special milestone birthday approaching and friends flying in from the United States, we were drawn to create a unique experience in the captivating UNESCO World Heritage site, Lavaux. The Lavaux region, known for its stunning terraced vineyards and picturesque landscapes, offered a perfect backdrop for our celebration. With his deep connections in the region, Marc crafted an exclusive wine and food tour for us, offering a unique opportunity to sample the best of the Lavaux. With his encyclopaedic knowledge of Swiss and world wines, his accreditation as a world heritage guide and his relationships with the region’s best wine growers and food creators, Marc ensured unprecedented access to the finest food and wine in the area and truly surpassed our expectations. With his captivating storytelling and warm personality, Marc leads you on a sensory adventure that will leave a lasting impression. Marc spoke to the group’s different levels of knowledge and his encouragement gave us all the knowledge to learn and experience more. After a delightful walk through the summer vines, we ended our tour with a long lunch and tasting menu with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Marc expertly hosted the lunch, impressing us with absolutely sensational pairings, paying attention to every detail, having had to accommodate various food intolerances. The day flew by, leaving us thrilled with the special moments we shared. As we parted, we did so as friends, eagerly anticipating our next food and wine adventure with Marc, hopefully in Champagne, France.

We enjoyed a wonderful day with Marc. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and just fun to be with. He provided perfect instructions of how to meet him at the Cully train station from our hotel in Lausanne. The tour was a pleasant and leisurely walk through the historic and hilly roads of the vineyards and towns. I agree with his description that moderate fitness is required. We visited Domaine Blaise Dubois in Epesses, and had a special visit and tasting experience with Blaise himself. We then went to a delicious lunch at Auberge du Vigneron, where Marc recommended excellent wines and concluded the day at Terres de Lavaux in Lutry. They have a terrific tasting room with beautiful atmosphere and views. The experience exceeded my expectations and I’m glad to have learned so much about this special place.
