Being a private tour, the itinerary is fully flexible and can be tailored to the customers’ interests and preferred locations.
We can schedule a lunch stop at a restaurant of your choice or one recommended by the driver. Please note that lunch is not included in the cost of the tour.
Please bring your own refreshments. We can also stop along the way to purchase water or other drinks if needed.
What To Expect
Sanap Cliffs
A panoramic drive through Munxar on the way to Xlendi where we will stop for some time to enjoy the view and also can take some photos of the outstanding cliffs
Wied Il Kantra
Kantra Valley is the most beautiful area in Xlendi. Here you can get off for a small walk and check out the Tower. Further down you can also have a walk along the cliffs in Xlendi

5.00We had the absolute best time with Lorraine from Mayjo! We even met her husband and he was fantastic too! We had a list of things we wanted to see and do and all were accomplished plus more. We are so glad we booked a more personal experience than going with a “gang” of other tourist on a quad, bus, tuk tuk, or jeep. It was more memorable and meaningful with someone who loves Gozo and the way of life there. Thank you Lorraine!

5.00Our experience with Maygo tours was positive from the very start. They got back to us right and and fast in responding back to us The tour itself with our driver Maurice was awesome! He was very informative, took his time and we never felt rushed. He went out of his way to give us the feel of the Gozo way of life. He took us to a few places not on the tour that has amazing views and were hidden gems. The beaches and look offs were beautiful. Maurice took us to a beautiful local pub with amazing food and great service. On the way back to catch our ferry Maurice took us to an ice cream stand that was a local favourite. The ice cream were a great price and so good! I would definitely recommend both Maurice and Maygo tours and if we come and if we come back to Malta we would love to do one of the other tours nd stay a couple night in Gozo. Thank you Maurice and Maygocarhire tours.

5.00The private tour of 6hrs was extremely fun and comfortable for just 2 of us. Our driver, Joseph was waiting upon our arrival. He showed us GOZO. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, introducing us to the local when ran into one at the site. My husband loved it and he said its one of the best decisions. Trustworthy operation. Easy communication. Highly recommended.

5.00Maurice (from east London originally) was a real hoot. Showed us the lot in one day. Lots to see, castles, churches, ruins, and scenery. Showed us some beautiful hide away beaches and back of town areas. Skilled driving and lots of laughter.

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Moyjo Car Hire on our highlights of Gozo tour. Our driver, Alex, was outstanding, nothing was ever too much trouble for him. I travelled with my husband, who has very limited mobility, and the whole experience was made incredibly easy and comfortable for us. The company and Alex were both very accommodating, and we were still able to see so much of Gozo, even if some of it was enjoyed from the most spectacular viewpoints from the car. Alex was knowledgeable about the island’s history and shared lots of interesting insights throughout the tour. He was also extremely thoughtful and kind, even offering to help push my husband’s wheelchair when needed. Overall, the tour was exceptional and we would 100% recommend Moyjo Car Hire to anyone but especially travellers with additional accessibility needs.

Paul knows Gozo extremely well, and matched the tour to our interests. He is just a genuine nice person, entertaining and friendly. We saw all the highlights and learned a lot about the island without being overwhelmed with too many dates and facts. It was really a highlight of our trip!
