Great wine, lots of food, and an unforgettable night walk. Amazing guide! Get your stomachs ready for the second bar — lots of wine, food, stories, and great vibes!

Bruce was an excellent host as we learned about the city’s history while enjoying local food and drinks. It was an enjoyable and well paced 3.5 hours of delicious food and great company. Don’t miss this.

I was a little skeptical of doing a food and wine tour because it is pretty easy to eat and drink on your own, but I thought this tour was well worth it. To start, we visited three places and had wine and tapas as advertised. The places we visited were all very good and definitely didn’t feel like tourist traps (our local Spanish guide on another tour we took specifically pointed out one of the places as a “must try”). It was also nice after a few days in Spain of struggling to communicate (our Spanish is not so good) to have Bruce take care of all the ordering including explaining what everything we got was etc. Finally, while this was officially a food tour, our guide Bruce also gave us a nice walking tour of the area as we went. He was knowledgeable and very friendly and gave us a good feel for Granada beyond the food. The tour group was small and while this obviously a bit random, the other couples on the tour were interesting to talk to.

Excellent tour of Granada lead by our host, Bruce. He provided a great orientation to the city center with information on its history, food and culture. We had four stops for tapas and wine and they were all great-and likely not ones we’d find on our own. There were 6 in our group and there were nice conversations throughout. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour, great food and wine. Our guide Katie was very knowledgable and informative. It was a small friendly group and we all had a wonderful evening trying new foods and wine and a great selection of restaurants. Even a olive oil tasting which was most unexpected but really good.

Several evenings ago my partner and I went on the 3 hour food tour with Spain Food Sherpas Granada with our guide Kate. It was a nicely paced and constructed itinerary and took us to places we would not have found by ourselves. The two most unusual dishes were a delicious Moorish influenced fried egglplant dish and a nutty dessert cake with a raspberry jam topping. The highlight was our last dish of a piece of superb grilled pork with a side of flavoursome pumpkin. Kate was knowledgeable and good company and gave us a little food guide. The next day we were sent a list of where we had been and the dishes and wine offered. We really enjoyed a chunk of the dark chocolate made with olive oil at our accommodation the next night. A most enjoyable experience.

Great venues selected with a nice variety of food and drink choices. Our venue for dessert was at a Michelin recognized restaurant. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and provided just the right experience for us. He provided interesting information about the great country of Spain.

Last day of a three week tour of Spain during which, we (British), tried to eat where the Spanish ate. This tour opened our eyes to traditional Granada cuisine with new tastes & textures and new Spanish wines, all of which we enjoyed. Not only did we eat and drink well, our guide Marcel treated us to a wonderful explanation of the history of Spanish cuisine from the Phoenician period up to the modern day. Since we are both interested in social history, as well as eating we enjoyed every minute. The tour of over 3 hours was not physically difficult (we are in our late 70's), the eateries visited were pleasant with willing staff and reserved tables. Food quantity was enough to keep us going for the rest of the day, we started at 11:30. Highly recommended for people who like good food and an understanding of the local society.

A brilliant gastronomic tour around Granada. Our guide Marcel was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and the region and how this shaped the food. Speaking of the food, every dish we ate was delicious! I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves history, food and great conversation!
