Fabulous evening!!!! Marcel was a world of information, not just on Spanish gastronomy but history as well. Loved every minute… the food was plentiful, easy walking, great stops! Would definitely recommend and would do again ourselves. Exceeded expectations!

This tour offers a great sampler of Granada. Our group enjoyed traditional tapas and wine at two restaurants, and a small plate of traditional dinner and dessert courses at the third; also with wine, of course. Our guide Bruce made the experience a lot of fun. Bruce is very knowledgeable of the influences on the food of Granada, the growing regions, and the restaurants we visited. He was also happy to discuss life in Granada, and offered good recommendations for other places to eat along the way. Bruce’s easy and affable manner made for a casual, enjoyable evening of strolling, eating, and imbibing. Definitely a great experience.

This was a small group food tour…..12 people…. , we walked through Granada and visited 3 restaurants, 4 glasses of wine and a variety of food long the way. Katia was very knowledgeable about local foods and wines. It was a fun way to see the city and have dinner!

Great enjoyable tour with Katia. Sampled many specialities in both food and wine of Granada. All food preferences / vegetarians / allergies catered for. Katia was knowledgeable and made everyone in the group feel welcome. Met many interesting people who were on the tour. There was more than enough to eat and drink at the 3 restaurants we visited.

There will be lots of both food and wine. Everything was delicious. Katia was full of interesting information. I was easily accommodated as a non meat eater, for which I am grateful.

This tour was top notch. There wasn't a lot of walking but there was an abundance of great, diverse food. Our guide Katia really knew her stuff and did a great job keeping the 12 of us in line. We love these tours because they allow us to taste food items we might otherwise hesitate to order, yet we typically fall in love with. After the tour, Katia sent us an email listing the restaurants and shops we visited plus the foods and wines we tasted. She shared the photos she took of the group at each stop. We also met great fellow travelers too! It was so good, we booked another wine and tapas tour with Spain Food Sherpas (through TripAdvisor) for our stop in Malaga!

Really enjoyable evening, great guide, an interesting and sociable group of 14 of us visiting 3 restaurants, with an interesting route through the city plus a visit to a herbs and spices shop.

Highly recommend the Spain Food Sherpas food tour in Granada. Our guide, Marcel, was very informative and personable. His passion for Spanish gastronomy was clear, and he explained the dishes and wines in a way that was easy to understand. Marcel also provided historical context for each dish, painting a clear picture as to "how" the dishes came to be part of Spain's vibrant gastronomy landscape. The tour was good value, with several tapas and wines across the stops. Our group included a vegetation who was well accommodated when meat dishes were served. The length of the tour was as advertised and made for a excellent evening out with family. We were also provided with many recommendations for further dining and activities in Granada, several of which we went to and had positive experiences at - so I'd recommend doing this tour early during your stay.
